i am receiving regular calls from this number, no one talks but sometimes I hear background noise.
it is becoming a nuisance and i would like to know who is calling and whether i can stop them.

Dennis Desilva is their Agent - says he's in London - actually in Mumbai.
I finally tracked them down and confronted them.
I said I would report them - they told me not to do this if they promised to remove my details from their system.
In reality, the 'cut off' calls come from an autodialer if their agents are not yet ready to take a call to do an accident claim.  Simple.

Report them to ofcom.  I know I am!

Hi yes I am getting numbers from +1 (234) 567 - 89 Salem OH - its constant, atleast 16 times today already and only at 1.30pm!
O2 were unhelpful saying all they could do was change my number, but why should I????
I really want to report them, but they hang up when I answer so no idea who they are or how they got my number.

I have had 6 calls from this number today, (and it's only 2.00pm) and they have been phoning for the last 5 days. I am not prepared to answer a call from a number that looks dodgy.

iv had +123456789 ringing me every day since friday they were ringing once a day now the past 3 days they have rang me loads of times i answerd them in they cut off 3seconds after me answering i picked it up again yesterday and today and they keep telling me loads of names asking me stupid things in different accents its proper freaky

you should pick up see what they say but dont speak propa weird

I have been getting these same calls re: my computer constantly...they want you to log on yours so they can get remote access.  I let them wait for about 20 minutes and then get back to them and tell  them I don't have a computer.  He calls me a f.... liar and I blow a loud whistle into the phone.  Last night I heard a remote voice (sounding nigerian or east indian) say "pick up...come on...pick up".  Very strange indeed as it sounds like disembodied voices.  THIS IS A SCAM and is probably originating from overseas. REALLY, TRY THE WHISTLE IN THE PHONE.  I HOPE IT BLOWS THEIR EARDRUMS OUT.

I have had 10 missed calls from this number so far today, really annoying as work nights. I have no idea who it is. I work gor the police so will be reporting it tonight

I get about 16 calls per day and they never answer.

Easily dealt with - get a call blocker (mine's an android so easy to get one) and all their calls get blocked.

Quite good fun having a quick look every night to see hom much effort they've put in to calls that can't get answered!

its not fake man i got the same call and it was a man interviewing me about the water cycle. what about you

I finally answered a call from this number today and it was someone saying I had replied to a text for free debt advice (which I haven't) I asked him to remove me from the dialer and not to call me again and the calls have stopped.

Actually for ur info I have answered the fone and whoever the cowardly [***] is on the other end will not ans and also I owe nobody money ok!!
