I got this call just now.  I ignored the call.  If it's important, they'll leave a message.  

Last time I answered a call from a number I didn't recognize, it was a bill collector threatening to have me deported if I don't pay.  I was born, raised and still live in the US.  I bitched him out for a good 15 to 20 minutes after asking for his information and to be connected to his supervisor.  They never called me again.

never answer a 900 number they can charge however much they want

Look, theres a app on the iphone called Spoofer, and cakecallerID. you can fake any number you want in the world and it doesn't charge you.

its just some 12 year old kids playing joke's i guess.

Well all this is creepy, but I get calls from an 800 number and they just hang up and another one is something about car insurance...

Someone called me from (123456789) and will not say anything when I answer; I answered twice the first day and they called at 9:12 am and 7:42 pm and nothing was said. Then the second day they called at the exact same time and I never answered it. This is so freaky!

Recieved a call from 123-4567, sometime last year, i didnt answer. I was actually able to call back, and it was somebody asking who i was voting for for president . I said something like "Larry the Cable Guy"

I use this number asking wierd things and people freak out.

I don't Know Why your doing this Because you do know that your going to get arested.

i received a call from this num 1(234)-567-89 i picked up but nothing all i could hear was some rattle in the back ground guess it was a bogus num

received call today it was a friend of mine via skype they r correct answer the phone least that can happen is you hang up your phone

I got two calls today from the number 123456789 with No Name the first was at 9:20am and I missed the call the second was at 1:21pm and I answered it to find no one on the other end except some static, I swear I said hello about 10 times and nothing...I'm wondering who this was...it's kinda creepy...

I was curious and picked it up.  The number had called last week and did not leave a message so I thought it could be important.  Boy was I wrong...stalker.  000-012-3456 calls and records you answering the phone.  The caller plays that recording to a family member (happened last night).  3 Minutes after the 000-012-3456 call, Unknown Number calls with the family member's recording.  Whomever this is...You are good.  I'm interested in knowing how you've obtained the other's phone numbers as they're unlisted, different last names, different addresses...everything!  Not sure what you want from me, but it's laughable; I've got nothing :)  I look forward to your charming response.
