Getting Nasty text messages from this number

Bit different to most as the guy on the phone was Indian and asked for another name. I have been getting a lot of calls for this person who must have had the number before me as he is still in the fone book under my number, so much for BT,
He wanted to see if I was "eligible" for solar panels and surprise surprise I am! At that point I declined to give him my details and rang off. Definitely  scam of some sort.

I keep getting this call from 123-456-7890.  I filed a complaint with the FCC.  Obviously, this is a malicious call.  I have caller
ID and never pick up from unknown callers.  I also will block it.

I would have hoped that, from posts here, this issue would have been resolved a while ago.  

Considering the fact that this follows a theft of thousands of dollars from my credit card and multiple packages falsely mailed across the country in my name, it seems fair to guess that this is all connected.  
The FBI is aware of this.
 
In today's climate of cyber attacks etc., this deserves to be taken very seriously.

I hope everyone who is being harassed and robbed will call and report these incidences to the appropriate authorities.  That's what they try  to do for a living... catch the bad guys.    

Too many bad guys today though.  

I live in western United States,  They called today a little after noon My answering machine came on for our business they never left a message. First time we have been bugged by these buggers. Usually its unknown name callers. I figured something wasnt right when I saw the supposed area code as United States does not have a area code like that.  Cant figure out why if they are a Canadian long distance company they would be calling us.  I suspect a SCAM!!!!

I got a call today from this number, 1234567890 , I live in New York, guess they are branching out this way, glad for the info on this number,, will not answer the phone when they call..

I got one today, I am in New York, first time getting the call from that number, hope it doesn't happen again..

I ordered Etheric  Silver on line and did never received it.  I have used the product before so , silly me, thought it was a legit side.  When I rebooked at the invoice in my pending file and looked at the phone number it was:  (123) 4567890.  No such number exists.  Beware.

I just got a call for the number 1234567890.  Who is that?

Called at 7:30 am.A little early for retired people.Knew when I saw the # it was a scam!!!!How do you stop these nuisance calls, especially when you're on the do not call list!!!

it was from area code 123 don,t know who or what it was

Got a call from 123-456-7890 this afternoon.  Never heard of area code so just clicked talk then immediately clicked off.  Do the same with 800 series numbers.

416 898 2980 is behind the harassing / scam calls. Got many calls, calling back goes through to real people

They never called Me but my phone said it was apparently coming from Bedford.

call the F.B.I  there are so many complaints on this number that gives agents a move to stop

A spoofed landline
The company carrier is First communications

They used this number to get my credit report from credit karma

I got a call Sat. AM.  Indian calling about my computer.  I said I don't even have a computer....he said "lady - what is that on the shelf"...I argued back and forth... finally I said "let me call you back"....he giggled, then finally I said "I know this is a scam please don't call me again"....there was a silence and he hung up..
