1511

I receive funny text messages from this number 1511. Is it from a free SMS website or just a random text?

Probably a scam. Check your bill to see if you're being charged. If you are and your phone runs apps, go to your app market and search for an SMS blocker. Otherwise contact your service provider and see if they can block premium SMS and third-party providers.

I get messages from this sender too. Not every day, but when I get them they arrive in groups of 20 or more all, back to back. The text of the msg says Ota Ok (all caps). They come within seconds of the previous & interrupts whatever I'm doing.

that is all it says...

i just got a txt msg and it starts with:
"Welcome to T-Mobile!..."
and then it says my number, which is a hyperlink.
after that my phone said "sending message"
i think i should cancel my phone and have everyone block me...

Just got a text from 1511:

"OTA OK"

Haven't a clue what it means.  I'm deleting it.

If you're with verizon and getting the OTA thing that's normal, ota means "over the air"  which is a type of programing verizon does. I'm not with verizon but I keep getting a text from this number when people that I know die. It's just a bunch of symbols though.

I also get one from 1511 says: "Update-please delete this message and re-power your phone.

just got a phone call from 1511  immediately after getting the call my phone went on safe mode.  Sprint is my provider

I went out of town today and shut my phone off until I got to my destination. When I powered my phone back up, I got about 26 of the "OTA OK" texts from 1511. Never happened before, but I never shut my phone completely down either.

1511: update--please delete this message and re-power your phone . ? if its legit why request deletion of the message . i didn't delete , but i have had to re-power my phone since . Thief mobil is my carrier .

That is so creepy I got one this morn.and when I looked it up it said emergency police fire armed guard frequency!weird!

I got this too, just now, I have t mobile too, exact same thing as you said

Weird. I got the same weird text a minute ago, and I've tried copying and pasting the symbols on here 3 times in a message and my phone freezes. Super creepy
