this number keeps calling me, asking for me and not giving names or what its reguarding, so i just keep acting like im someone eles in the household

We got a message from a Mr. Harper saying he was from MCI and to call back at this number to extension 369 regarding an important matter.

mine had already started taling and the women was in to hours, the #, days of the week. never asking for one person, or who she was, what company. sorry if you cant i.d. yourself or who you represent forget yoy.

I received a call from number 1-800-871-1840 on my cell, the problem is, it's a NEW cell phone and number, but as a web-site owner I was able to find who owns the domain name of First Collection (see below)
I have also reported this to FTC, FBI, and other government.

Holly Moneypenny called my cell phone stating that she has important business to discuss and to call 1-800-871-1840, ext 114.

I followed up with FCI, it turns out www.SzaboServices.com is providing wrong information. .

There are three FCI's: "France Contentieux International" (http://en.france-contentieux.com/), "First Collections Incorporated" (http://www.firstcollections.com/) and an FCI somewhere on the east coast.

The FCI in France is an international debt collector with clients overseas and no apparant connections to the United States. http://en.france-contentieux.com/

The FCI in Grand Forks North Dakota is a legitimate agency with no history of pretexting, or harassment. It seems you can call them anytime at 800-869-5166 and they handle mostly local accounts to them. http://www.firstcollections.com/

However, there is also an FCI possibly in Maryland somewhere. There is no info on them, they do not give out their phone numbers, and they have no website.

800-871-1840 is a virtually untraceable phone # and has no web address associated to it. My office is trying to research and validate this phone number, because of multiple complaints. This phone number is offering award winnings, calling about overdue bills, providing credit card services, calling from a hospital, and the list goes on. This activity is illegal, but so far no information implicates that any person from any of the above FCI's is directly associated with this number. Likely it is scammers attempting to use a business name to obtain consumer confidential information.

Please be careful when answering phone calls from any person who is trying to obtain account access, credit card information, or any confidential information. Banks, hospitals, collection agencies, and prize giveaways are required by federal and state laws to follow a specific set of protocols. It is advised that consumers being harassed by any of these pretexters know the local and federal regulations.

This company calls me 10 times a day saying I owe them money for a invoice from last year. I ask them to fax me a copy and they say they don't have the documentation there. Only owe $30.28 they say. I called me creditor myself and they told me I owe them nothing. So either this credit company bought a bad debt or there scam artists.

Heres whats not fair about these agencies.....so when these companies still buy the bad debt and on your end its satified...they still report this as a bad debt on your credit report, thats not fair.
Then we have to pay to have it removed. That right there is BS. The credit company that report it should pay it!

Received a call from this number, the person leaving the message said, they were from FCI Corp.  a debt collector, the recording gave me another number to call back on 877-332-8231.  So I called it, just to see what they want and to rip them a new a-s-h-le,  I was put on hold listening to dead air.  Then I was disconnected.

This is a healthcare collections agency, First Credit Inc. They are very nice and accomodating if you are having trouble paying your bills.  The account manager I spoke to was in Cincinnati, Ohio.

I answered a call from this number and was told to hold-it was important that they speak to me-I have been waiting for 10 minutes-how important can it be?? I will talk to them and let them know they are going to be reported if they call again.  My number is unlisted so I can't imagine what the heck they want

They are calling and asking for me, i tell them not available and as to take a message, they state it is personal business and tell her to check her email.  this is getting aggravating. They won't tell you who they are or what they are calling. about.

I had some balalnces that carried over to FCI from Cleveland Clinic after 90 days.  It seems that they are taking over the Clinics billing when it reaches that time.  Holly has been great to work with and actually polite about everything.

This idiots keep calling ME because a relative owes money to the Cleveland Clinic.  I am NOT the person with the debt and I told them to go F--K off and stop calling me; it's NOT my problem.  NOW what they do is keep calling me from an "unknown" number, wait until I answer, then hang up on me.  That is SO illegal!!!  If I had the money to do so, I'd like to trace this SOBs to their location and kick the S--T out of them as they left their offices.  I'm NOT going to actually do that, but someday, someone WILL get pissed off enough to take out some of these ##!@!!! debt collectors!

FCI "accomodating?", "helpful" Doubtful. They are very rude and condescending. I know I owe you money, but don't talk to me like I'm a second class citizen. They wanted my SSN, when I asked them why, they hung up on me! No explanation whatsoever. Then when I called back, I asked "why did you hang up on me?". The "lady" Karen Young said "I didn't hang up on you, I disconnected the call". HUH?????
I told her I needed to see an invoice before I made a payment. She told me they sent one two months ago. I told her I paid a little on that one. And I wanted another invoice. She refused! She said "why should I send another invoice when you didn't pay the last one"? Well, I need to know what the charges are for and how much the balance is. Her - "I JUST TOLD YOU- YOU OWE US $274 FOR A HOSPITAL BILL!!!"
I said, no- I owe the Cleveland Clinic $274.00 for a hospital bill." Man, did that set her off.
I don't know how she sleeps at night knowing ho they treat people. I'm guessing alone and angry.  Notice, I'm not afraid to leave my real name, because I am not going to be threatened or harassed by these people, because I am keeping up with my payments and if they call me, it's harassment.
Oh, and be careful of the hospitals, too. They are starting to turn bills over to collectors within 60 days of service. You used to be able to work with hospital billing to get a discounted or even a zeroed out rate. You can't do that with collections agencies.

ask for the company to send documentation of what you owe, for what and to whom, if they do not produce this then it is a scam, all debt must be able to prove who and how much you owe, a lot of companies just want the money and they are nothing be second hand crooks. if they are legit, they will provide proof,4

Ever since I got a phone number change, I have been getting porn and nuisance calls.  This is one of the numbers.
