- Stockton ca| 3 repliesThis number is from chase card services a collection agency.
- p booker| 1 replywho the heck are these people..STOP!
- Ornito81 replies to Stockton ca| 1 replyFalse, I called Chase and they don't know this number at all: DO NOT GIVE THEM AMY BANK INFORMATION !!!
- jamesI got a call from this number. Caller ID said JP Morgan Chase.
I didn't answer and they didn't leave a message.
I manually called the number back and the automated response said "Thank you for calling Chase Card Services & for calling us back: To better direct your call ...."
About that time is when I hung up because I did not want to speak to a human collections agent.- Caller: JP Morgan Chase.
- Call type: Debt collector
- J| 1 replyi had been receiving this call a few times the last several days. Never answered but decided to call back. Automated voice sounds almost like the one Chase uses. Message that is said, "Thank you for returning our call. Please enter your 16 digit card number or 9 digit social security number." Yeah right! I hung up and called Chase bank # off the back of my card. They verified that it was NOT their number. It was most likely a phishing scam. She explained that when Chase Bank calls they call from, and ask for you to call back, a 1-800 or 1-866 number.
- Ann L.B.This *is* Chase collection people (evidently ex-h fell behind, and they linked my phone number to him, somehow). Maybe it's a service that more than one creditor uses, which would explain why maybe calling that number back doesn't work.
The people AT Chase might not know the outgoing phone numbers of the hired guns.- Call type: Debt collector
- JoI got a call from this number, a woman asked to confirm my name. When I said yes, I said what is this regarding? I don't do business over the phone. I got a really suspicious feeling because o asked a couple of times what this call was regarding and she didn't answer. She said to go ahead and call Chase or go online if I didn't feel comfortable on the phone, trying to legitimize it.
- Caller: Chase
- DianeCalls multiple times a day.
- LizKeeps calling every morning ask for my name and hangout or go silence for a long time until I hangup. Really really really annoying
- CindyI received a call from this number too, and I do have some of my cards behind so I was listening up until he said I had to say yes for him to get me the help I needed. I told him send paper work in mail and I will look it over and hang up. That is sad they take advantage of you when you are already in a low place and they know it. WOW do not say yes for any reason on a phone conversation to someone like this.
- Caller: J.P. Morgan
- Call type: Debt collector
- JimboThis is J.P.Morgan Chase. It IS their debt collectors ( I paid one card - twice; zero payment on the second - missed payment.)
I wouldn't give out any personal information either, but to those who ASSUME that THEY (the caller) is a criminal because they will not explain the purpose of their call to someone who has not identified themselves as the person who is the debtor, keep in mind that it is for tour security they do not do so! As in, if your father-in-law picks up your cellphone and answers it only to be told that the deadbeat who married his little girl has a collector calling him because he isn't responsible with his credit. Stuff like that; they need to refer you to the number on the back of your card and call it a day.
Simple truth - call your bank and check your accounts.- Caller: Chase
- Call type: Debt collector
- Jimbo replies to JI gave a more detailed post in this site, but as someone else posted, Chase does not know all the numbers in use by their company.
Too bad that you didn't indicate if there was a reason why Chase would be calling you in the first place, which is most likely resolved from your call to Chase on the regular number. - maryCalled several time but did not leave a message.
- NRaplease do not give any info whoever call you from this number
- Caller: Chase
- office managerMy call logs show this number, but no message is left. We are a business, we do not have credit cards, we do not bank with Chase, and we don't have any other debts. Don't know why they keep calling.
- Caller: Chase Bank, according to rumor
- Justaguy847-426-9203 -- ID as "J.P. Morgan Chase" -- Once, I made the mistake of answering the call. Caller was obviously new to the English language. Could not understand him. Never do business over the phone (or "chat" on-line). Always insist on mail - certified, if possible.
- Caller: Chase?
- Judy keilI have spoken to this co, once at length. They have signed me up for a credit card that I never confirmed/validated and are privy to financial information that they somehow unethically obtained.
I HAVE NEVER SIGNED UP (IN ANY WAY) FOR A CREDIT CARD FROM CHASE/SLATE. I DO NOT OWE THEM ANY MONEY.
I am beyond being skeptical and now believe they are fraudulent.
Their actions are going to put my good credit rating in jeopardy.
I'm fed up with their ongoing totally unwarranted harassment- Caller: Chase/Slate
- Call type: Debt collector
- unknown replies to p bookerChase debt collectors
- VladScam - dont Talk to them
