- Rob| 1 replyThey claimed to be BofA but I verified with my bank and they said this is a scam and that they never called. The scammers were asking for birthday and social which is what made me hang up and call the bank immediately because they never ask for my social over the phone.

- Lawrence MarinoThey called and left a message on 06/10/21. It was very important about my account. Didn't mention which account. She even left her name and would be open until 12am. I looked up the phone number on my account and it wasn't one of BOA's. Scammer for sure.

- B-Edwards replies to David| 3 repliesWhoever the caller is, it is NOT Bank of America.
Sounds most like a call to made to businesses and they are pushing credit card processing. But a quick web search of the number and after looking at posts on 800notes, it seems that some calls are from scammers in India trying to do both debt collection and info phishing. https://800notes.com/Phone.aspx/1-888-800-9030/2
There were a good number of shill posts removed over in 800notes, and that is a sure sign of a scammer. - Stommy replies to B-Edwards| 2 repliesIs this Cob?
- B-Edwards replies to StommyIs who or what Cob? The calls are from scammers in India pretending to be Bank of America - BoA.
- JackReacher replies to StommyNo, corn has nothing to do with this phone call.

- cgarner replies to DavidExactly the same message as mine…
- ChaseBeen receiving calls from this number constantly over the past week, never answered them. When listening to the same voicemail everyone is getting, but from "Lyle Johnson", I called the number. It answers with a machine saying it is bank of America and to enter or say the last four digits of my account or social. Luckily I immediately hung up and checked here. Pure scam. Them just getting the last 4 of your social is enough for some fraudsters.

- Shelly replies to DavidI got this exact call too from a woman. (10/2022) Odd thing was she was asking for someone else that I never shared a BofA account with. I don't even bank with BofA.
