Today, Sept. 26. 2016, an voice, with Indian accent, over the phone asked me if I use Apple computer, that he is from Maintenance ...something? from San Diego,  he was recitating, repeating that my computer is in danger?! So, he was advising me to turn on my computer, so he can help solve 'my problem'...Anyway, it is the same voice as from American Expres credit kart, if...

Keeps calling will not leave message or say anything when I say hello

Received 2 calls from 19917. Did not answer they left no message.

I received three calls from this caller within couple hours. I block it.

After calling about 5 times in less than 2 hours I answered. I could barely understand him. He told me my computer is defected and he needs to come pick it up. I said "what?" He said "yea its defected." I said "what is?" He said "your windows computer." I said "ha. I don't even have a windows computer." He said "I didn't say windows I said Mac. Do you have a Mac?" i said "Yes you did, you told me I have a defected windows computer. you need to loose my number now." He said "NO, no no I didn't say windows I said mac do you have a mac?"  and I just hung up on him.

Got a call from 19917. Guy said he was from Microsoft. I hung up. Got about 6 more calls in two days. Then I blocked the number. I never heard anything bad, but I knew it was all just spam. Funny thing is, I had a different number calling me a week prior with the same scam, trying to get info from me. So I feel these two incidents are related.

For the past 2 days I've been getting calls from a number thats 19917 and I ignored it. So finally after being called by this number so much I picked up and the man on the other end had an Indian accent and claimed that my mac had malware and that if I don't get it resolved it will never work again. And he told me to go to program that will have him control my computer so he could fix it. He told me to put in my credit card information for a $10 fee. So I did what he told me until I had a gut instinct that he was not who he claimed to be. But he told me on the phone to not touch the computer until he is done. So little did I know I checked my phone and got an email saying that $390 was transferred through Western Union and I asked him what is this. And he told me not to worry and to use the internet in my phone either cause he claims that its from the same wifi as my computer. But I didn't listen to him. So I hung up and closed all of the crap that he installed in my computer and called Western Union regarding this issue and they said that they will block my credit card and inform law inforcement. And this person still kept on calling me. So I blocked his number was getting unknown number calls.

I love messing with these idiots,if they call referring to Microsoft keep asking him how soft is microsoft over and over in broken English and if they say you have a problem with Windows so yes I do the dirty and will you help me clean them please of course in broken English again they're too stupid to figure this out

Received call twice so far. No msg left first time, when I answered 2nd time, it said "thank you"

Do not go along with what they are telling you to do!! Complete scam I told him I looked up the number he was calling from online and that it was a scam and he told me don't look on google it lies and I told him not to call my number again and he called back so I told him to [***] off and he told me "ok I love you" he had a very thick Chinese accent. This is ridiculous don't answer!

a Man from east India area speaking broken English told me my computer had been hacked. I told him he was full of bull [***] and hung up as he kept talking none stop. obvious the number was from out of the country.

Received 3 calls today, I do not answer, all 1-991-7

They keep calling foreigners

Rec'd two calls from this no. No message left but called back didn't answer.

This number keeps calling my house phone

I don't know

I didn't answer - and they left no message. Feb 23 at 10am

They keep calling me I don't answers based on info from this site. I assumed it was a scam.
