    They do a "service" called 1800MUMDAD or 1800686323 for reverse charges calls to mobiles.  There's info on them at 1800mumdad.com.au

    This Mum & Dad crazy company has put me up in a total charge of $109!!!!
    they keep sending me these premium sms's that charge me $4.50 each for a call i didn't even make or accept!
    Can i get this money back?!?!

    have paid hundreds of dollars for these calls to my daughter's mobile in the last couple of months. I have called the company and Telstra to have them stopped but again this month and apparently next month according to my online bill more charges from this number.
    The two numbers that are the worst are 19999738MO & 1992747477MT. These are charges for unaccepted reverse charge calls from 1800mumdad. Talk about a rip off, charging someone for a reverse charge call that someone else makes that hasn't even been accepted. Kids have a falling out, others prank them with these calls and parents have to pay. This must be stopped! NOW!

    The buggers are at it again. I hung up on a call (6 seconds duration) but they still charged me A$5. I've tested it and they charge as soon as you answer regardless of whether you continue. Take it up with your phone provider and get them to reverse the charge which they will easily. This Blue Central crowd is just another rip-off. Also, make a complaint to the Telecom Ombudsman - it will cost them far more than they can ever charge you!! A concertted effort will put them out of business. Also complain to your Consumer Affairs Department - help put Blue Central in the firing line and costs them time and money dealing with it!

    If you have a problem with Blue Central (and who hasn't!) then call them on 1800 195 773 - at least they have to pay something for the call. They won't take your call but put you on hold and it drops out after 20 minutes - I've tried it a few times. Bombard them!

    I have charges on my bill as below
    16 dec   05.53pm 19995511MT   x 1 $5.00 (4 times = $20)

    I was told by telstra to call 1800 195 773.

    The 1800 number is for a company called BlueCentral Mobility. The call is answered with instructions to either send "stop" to the original message which I do not have OR stay online with your mobile number and the short code (which telstra tells me is the 19995511MT) but then you are put on hold for years.

    I have tried this number all times of the day taking into consideration of different opening hours but it is a scam.

    Telstra has blcoked Premium SMS and 1900 numbers off my phone but I still get charged..

    How do I stop it as I am sick to death of paying for a stupid 13 yr olds curiosity????

    Guys ive been using 1800mumdad for months now and satisfied with it. i even ask my daughter to use this reverse call service  to call me every time she is out and run out of credits which always happens(lol). i wont bother paying for her calls to ensure her safety.

    I think 1800mumdad will not call you if there is no first party who is dialing your number, better call their customer service if you wanna be blocked.

    advice for you mate, guard your children in their phone usage. cheers!!!!

    yeah i called their customer service number and indeed they blocked me. takes a little time, but patience goes a long way mates!

    well I am using this service too and never i had a problem with it... if you don't like to accept the call there is a voice prompt and it will tell you what to do next and if you want to stop the service just don't accept the call since this is not a subscription kind of service or better yet call their customer support and I think they will be happy to serve you  cheers!

    You are only charged if you actually accept the reverse charge phone call. Its $5.00 for connection fee and first minute and every two minutes after the customer rep told me. i believe it is a great service if its not abused and only uses for emergency purposes.

    yes i agree with kate harrykon. it is indeed a great service, its just that people often abuse them and then blame the company for it. which is quite unfair i think.

    well if you want the service to stop you can just call their customer service and tell them that you want it stop.. or easier way is to decline the calls

    yeah!! I also suggest you call their customer service to ban that number. Their customer service number is 1300790299, you may ask them for help regarding prank callers or if you don't wanna receive any call from anybody. I got this from their website...Their service is good enough for me..but if you have some problems you may check out their site for any help.

    I have similar experiences with a SMS txt from a company associated with Blue Central Mobility.  I have tried following the instructions to txt STOP and have waited in vain with the txt number etc to discuss with someone from this company.  I am supposidly not subscribed to anything. My own telephone provider is totally unable to assist me to stop these txt coming through. This month a charge of $62.00 was added to my bill for these txt. Living in NZ makes it very difficult as Consumer Affairs in NZ is not able to help so have to contact Australian Consumer Affairs to try and stop these annoying costly txt.

    i called the company my 10 year old was excepting reverse charges, on his mobile i contacted the company and asked them to block his number which they have done,i also contacted the telecommunication ombudsman and made a complaint ,they had also let him accept reverse charges with no credit on his count and when i charged him up they would take the money , i was not impressed.
    1800195773, THEY ALSO REIMBURSE THE MONEY THEY TOOK .
