same call 2002 m card was blocked didnot press 1

Got this call little while ago stating that my debit Mc has been deactivated press 1 to continue but hung up and called my bank to find out info. Wasn't my bank def was a scam!!

Called me to reactivate my bank of America debut card and I don't use bank of America.

Didn't answer call from this number, but thank you for posting info on these crooks for those of you who did answer.

call said my first of america card has been reported stolen and asked to enter card #. i have NO cards at all!! SCAM!!!

Me to ! I dont own a master card.  Its a scam

Don't answer numbers u dont recognize. If they are legit they will leave a voicemail

Answered hung up total scam never give that number out

received a call from a "2002" saying my hsbc card was lost and to deactivate press 1.  obvious scam just disconnected.

Did not answer, but i did not trust a 4 digit number calling me. Any legit business would call from a reputable number.

Called me at 8:30 PM, I didn't answer and they left no message.

Got the call just a few min ago, from 2002 of course I didn't answer it.Then came the voice mail that my wesbanco card has been compromised. I never even banked with wesbanco. Not 5 min later got another call from the # 512 same results.. same automated voice same speil. Blocked both numbers. Just wanted to share. Btw it's almost 2am.

Same call, did not respond to the request.  Came in on cell phone which I do not list with any business. Sounded official so they must be improving their pitch. Beware!

Call from 2002 just now. Did not answer, no message left. I did call back, line busy. Not sure how these people got cell number. Thanks for posting all! Big help!

I received a call from #2002 on caller ID. My husband answered so I really don't know exactly what the message said but something to the fact that a credit card had been compromised.  I also received a call from a recording that said they were Verizon saying to press 1 to activate my phone, that was also earlier today.

Number shows up as 2002...asks to hit prompt 1 to reactivate a credit card..SCAM. Please beware everyone. They identify themselves as direct express thru an automated voice.

I just got a call from this number 2002 that is obviously a spoofed code. I blocked it immediately. Glad to know what it is because my carrier uses #and shortcut codes like #986 for billing. Thought this might be one of those codes.
