Guy called my wife's cell saying he was with the IRS. She told him to back off and hung up on him. He called back minutes later to quote our home address and threaten her with arrest. He was coming to our location which he correctly named to arrest her.

My wife just got the call from a guy for "Blah Blah Blah Commission IRS". He had our home address. Kind of freaked us out. So glad to google this number and find this page. Reassuring anyway.

I received a call at 1:30 today.. This man was foreign and claimed to be from the IRS and that due to fraud in 2008 the Commissioner of IRS was allowed to arrest me, seize my property, take my passport, freeze my bank accounts over $10 I owed in 2008 which had accrued interest of $1,800.. He said DO NOT
SPEAK or INTERRUPT me.. and you cannot tell anyone... BAM. I called the police on my cell.. He screams "What are you doing!" I can no longer negotiate... Hangs up..  When police comes, she
calls, HE ANSWERS and says he's turned me over to be arrested by the FEDS....The audacity..he was not even afraid of the police!!
Called the IRS to report... THEY confirmed the scam..  i'm sorry to read he was doing the same thing to people this afternoon.  He ended his tirade with physical harm to me tonight and hung up the phone!  These are bad bad people

Heavy Indian accent said his name is James Swartz, and he was with the irs auditing department, stated that he received notification to follow up in regards to my ex parting the residence! Bahahaha.  It was soooooo very obviously fake.  He said in 24 hrs something will expire and I will be taken into custody.  So I have to call him back to stop legal action.

How funny same person called me at 125pm 😁

Said I owed back taxes I know for sure I don't owe any taxes wanted to tell me the sheriffs office would
seize my land. The IRS don't call they write you and if it is serious they will register the letter.

Scam. Said they were from the IRS.  Tried to get me to pay 1930.00.  Omg. Bad news

I just got 2 calls from these M Fers, I asked to talk to his boss, he said he was the boss.  I asked to talk to who signs his paychecks, he said that he should guns his paychecks!  Shouldn't write what I said next but hopefully I won't be hearing from that guy again.

A guy called stating he was from the IRS and due to miscalculations I owe all this money and needed payment immediately or the Sheriff was coming to get me within the next four hours.  Total Scam......

202-204-0479 called and said he was with the Internal Revenue Services and that I had not paid taxes sense 08, and they had sent me letters with no response, I responded with I have not worked sense 09, he responded " that's no excuse!!! I could not understand this person who did not speak English!!! So I asked 3x to be put through to someone who could speak so I could understand what was being said and he did not, so when he would not and I ask a 4th time he got mad and yelled no, I knew this was bs so I just said back to him I'll call the IRS my self and I hung up on his DA!!! They must think people are stupid in the US!!!

I just received a call they left a voicemail saying they are from the Irs and I had to respond in 24 hours or will be arrested. I called back and couldn't understand a word he spoke! Googled the number and found all this. Glad I didn't proceed. This [***] should be illegal!!!

Threatening to be with IRS, strong accent...asking for immediate call back before I am arrested!!!  Why can these people get away with these calls?

How did they get you bank info

Received a recorded voice mail from a woman saying I owed the IRS for back taxed and the US Marshall will be issuing a warrant if I didn't contact them. Please call us4 immediately #202-204-0479 which matched the number they were calling from.  This is the third time I have gotten a similar call at my office.

I received a garbled phone message from this number requesting that I call them immediately before they take legal action against me.  When I called them from a land line, a gentlemen answered.  He had a very thick accident.  He mumble his name and where he worked.  When I asked him to repeat the information, he claimed he was calling from the IRS.  I ask him for his employee ID number, which he mumbled.  I told him I was sure he was not legitimate and that I was going to report him to a government agency for investigation.  He hung up.  What a scam!  Block this number if you receive a call from it!!!

It was an automated message stating that they were from the IRS and return the call immediately. It also stated that I had 24 hours and that I would be arrested.

Tax fraud.....lol....wierd that the us govr didn't recognize my fraud when I filed my taxes.

Calls from this number threatening to sue.  Bring it on coward
