They are using the Magicjack voip service. For $19.95 a year and terrorist in this country can buy a cheap phone line to scam us out of our money and use that money to kill us. Magicjack is in violation of our anti terror laws and a few other by not requiring these people to verify whom the really are! So, lets all start complaining to the FCC and homeland security and see if we can't shut down the magic joke phone service..

10am call, let it go to voicemail.  Msg was office sounds and faint music then click.  This was the 3rd or 4th call in a couple days.

Called & said he was my husband's son. I foolishly gave him the name, and he laughed...I hung up. Now we know, 202 area code is an FO code, don't bother!

We just got a call from this number at 11:15 a.m. It says it is a wireless caller that is in Washington D.C. and the number came up as unknown. I don't know how they got our number as it is a fairly new house line but I am very annoyed that it could be a scammer! Luckily, I don't answer numbers I don't know, so they can keep trying but they shouldn't even bother.

theres an app for iphones/ ipod touches called MagicJack free calls, i uploaded the app then called my cell from it to see if there was a number for it..and this is the number that came up.  So i think that who ever it is that is harrassing any of you are people using this app!..

Hindu voice on the line asking questions.  Could not under stand what they were even saying.  Just told them they had the wrong number and hung up.  If i receive another i will info the
attorney general office of the scam with the copy of the phones calls .

Called 4 times between 8:54 and 8:56 pm today. I did not answer and they left no messages but this isn't the first time they've called.

I received their call 11:15am but I didn't answer.

This person(s) have called my niece twice and left garbled message.  Caller is male and has foreign accent, possibly from Pakistan or India area.  This happened coincidently right after a woman calling from Illinois tried to use the Outstanding Payday Loan Collection scam on her.  They threatened her with imprisonment, etc.  When I called back on her behalf and started forcefully questioning them, they were rude and hung up on me.  The person clamed to be an attorney in Illinois (niece is in Iowa) and spoke with the same type of accent.  This seems like too much of a coincidence.  In any case, I told my niece to block the call, report it, etc.  These people are aggressive and sneaky and should be avoided at all costs.

Exact same call I got minutes ago. Shame on them for trying to fool a sales manager !!!

called my friend about a car for sale and said he was in the uk, and asked for her email address.

today i got a call about an ad i had posted and he wanted to know my location and if i could send him an email about the info.

For the last 3 days I been telling this person he has the wrong number and then he started insulting me. I can believe we can't do anything to stop this harassment.

Got a call from this# with a middle easern accent and his name was John Brown.  He was very abrupt and said my bank acct was flagged for fraud and that I was being charged. He called on a Canadian statutory holiday and I questioned him about that and he didn't have a rebuttal.  What I found interesting was that he was using my maiden name from yrs ago and non of my bank accts are in that name.

Caller: Is this Mrs. (my actual last name)?  Me:  "she's not home".  Caller: Who is this?  Me:  Who is this?  Caller: Are you her sister?  Me:  Who is this?  Caller:  Who are you?  Me: You called here, tell me who you are.  Caller:  F*** you man.

This number called at least 5x starting at 2:30 am this morning. All we got out of the guy was hello? hello? then he started dialing another number... ended up taking the phone off the hook for the rest of the night.... Big pain in the [***]!!!!!

Thats messed up... but funny, I'm using this approch next time I get a crazy call like this!
