Some sort of scam

This number 202 455 8888 claims to be Google, Inc. This started about 8/10/2016 when I tried to sign into my Gmail account some weird verification screen comes up and forces you to hit a tab so you can get this call from Google in Washington, DC which I think is a scam. I already reported it.

A caller inquiring about a Craig's list post said he had been scammed before and wanted me to enter a two digit code when I received a call from this 202 phone number.

This nuber called me from washinton and gave me a code ? I am from Algeria and afraid they will use me or something

Calling me 5 times a day starting very early morning, been doing it for a week. Call the number back and aurtomated says they are with google. How does one make this stop?

someone texted me from 19152295892 saying that he wants to buy my item that i posted on craigslist, and asked to press 86 when i get call from 2024558888.. i pressed then i realised that'sit probably scam, it sait thank you fot activation your acount, then he text me again asking press 94. i didn't answer phone anymore.  number 2024558888 called me 3 more times, then stopped calling,  what acaount was activated, is it gonna hurt me. How to deactivate/??

This stupid number and annoying as heck has called me several times in one day. I've had to block it. Dont know anyone with the area code 202.

It started with a text message,  I have my own business,  they wanted work done on a house they "had just purchased", wanted me to charge several thousand dollars more than the work would cost. As soon as I heard this, I told them that I was already aware of this type of scam.  They said that they would call me so we could talk.  However when they told me  I needed an access code, again the scam got better. Then I got this call from the number 222.455.8888, they texted me and requested that I answer,  they were sorry and really wanted to talk to me.  Well not in this life time

I don't have Google Voice and don't need and access code. Message left with access code by unidentified bot.  Scam. Block them.
