Keep getting calls from this number,I am on national 'no-call' list, but they keep calling. I refuse to ans.
Can you stop these haressment calls?Not going to answer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I, too, keep getting calls from this number. I have answered once, but noone was on the other line. Since then I have not answered.

this number calls me around the same time everyday...they wont leave a message and i have no idea where it could be coming from

This may being coming if you signed up for the 1,000,000 people against the mosque in NYC on Facebook. I thought it was a bill collector so i ignore it. I'll answer it next time (should be any minute now) and post the results when I have them.

These people have called me 5 times. I answered twice. The first time it sounded like heavy breathing. Same 2nd time, and I demanded that they not call me again. However, I have gotten 3 more calls. They skipped the weekend (including Monday) and started back on Tuesday. It is anywhere from 1 pm and tonight was @ 8 pm. I am ALSO on the do not call list. I am starting to get very furious because I asked them not to call again. Is there ANYTHING we can do to stop it?

I sent the ACLJ a message per Dan 10 Feb. 2009 on the 202-459-9010 # and waiting for a reply

My phone shows that I have had seven calls from this number.  No one is there when the phone is answered.  My number is on the National Do Not Call Registry also.

Just call the number back and press 1 to be removed from list.  It is easy.

when u get calls like this , i fwd them  ( if u have call fwd. ) to 215-624-0096. its a busy signal that works 24/7

This happened before with me with an 800 number last year, I never answer unknown calls that are in wasy out of the area, but if it's a known caller out of the area, I will answer it.

I kept getting calls and no messages. I called the number, listened to the recording and after about 30 seconds they ask if you want to remove your name from their list press 1. I did and we'll see if it works. Its a great organization but I prefer not to get calls from people I dont know.

I wonder if the do-not-call list really works, it seems that it really doesn't work, it was set up to make people believe that it would work by calling it the Do-Not-Call list, I had my doubts when I signed up.

its the a.c.l.j they are fighting for freedom.. pick up the friggin phone and support them. They protect religious rights and constitutional freedom if you do not want them to call you... call them back and hit #1 this will take you off their list..

This phone number that belongs to the American Center for Law and Justice (ACLJ) - which lies on their web site and states that they are "one of the most prestigious law firms in the country." Their chief shyster is Jay Alan Sekulow. Let's get the FACTS straight - the ACLJ is ACTIVELY and AGGRESSIVELY VIOLATING Federal Law (Do Not Call). This is what these sleazy shysters have been doing to me:

1. I've been getting calls from this, and other numbers from the ACLJ for WEEKS even though I NEVER gave them my number to harass me.

2. My number has ALWAYS been unlisted and I've been on the National Do Not Call lists for YEARS.

3. When you answer your phone, the ACLJ IMMEDIATELY hangs up on you.

4. Call the number back does the same thing - you get blasted with a single, loud, and obnoxious beep and then they IMMEDIATELY hang up on you again.

I called one of their other numbers, from their web site, WEEKS ago and demanded that their harassing calls STOP IMMEDIATELY. I was told that their marketing scammers use and automated dialer that calls THREE numbers at once, the first one who answers gets the phone call, the other two get the phone slammed down on them.

They PROMISED to take care of the matter within 48 hours - that was a LIE - the calls have NEVER STOPPED.

I reported the ACLJ to the National Do Not Call Center WEEKS ago - that has done NOTHING.

This afternoon, I started receiving MORE crank calls from these UNETHICAL, law-breaking shysters. Now they're using a FAKE and FRAUDULENT called ID that says they're a "collection agency".

Someone needs to sue the ACLJ, Jay Sekulow, and their other shysters for their illegal and unethical practices.

Make sure you post complaints about these idiots on other sites too - I'm filing a complaint with the BBB now, the Do Not Call Center AGAIN, posting complaints on Rip Off Reports, Trustlink, and everywhere else I can find.
