Please stop sending us  compliance notices. We no longer have a truck as it has been sold . We keep getting notices saying we need mandatory D.O.T. Training. We are not a driver supervisor and do not own a truck anymore.

If this letter was true and for real, the signature on the bottom of the letter signed above the department infomation, address etc would have the persons name under the signature! Sounds like nothing but a scam to me!!!!!!!  Signatures never go without the persons name followed with a printed name below it.  This is a joke!!!  I called the number I had on my cell phone (202) area code and all their message said was to leave a message, nothing more, nothing less.....no name, no business was their message.  At least they can identify who they are, being that they don't................SCAM WRITTEN ALL OVER THIS ONE!!!!!
    • Caller: they didn't leave a message, called back and there's no message on their end.

The company I work for is a Third Party Administrator for DOT Random drug and alchol testing programs.  We are very knowledgable on the DOT regulations and the requirement for 2 hours of Supervisor Training on Reasonable Suspicion.  There is no way an outside company would know if you have complied or not - they are trying to get your $99.00 via fear.  Several of our clients have received these and called us.  The seal on the top of the letterhead is pathetic as is the lack of name for the Supervisor.  This is an obvious scam on so many levels

I have been getting these letters also. The best thing you can do is make every effort to inform people and stop them from making anymore money in this scam. I was a Safety Director for a trucking company for years, and for compliance questions please call you state highway patrol, vehicle enforement, or look up and find you areas Federal DOT office. Do not be afraid to call and ask questions about what you need to do, that is what they are there for. For real info and training look up TSI (transportation safety institute) They are the best source of training and compliance. When you get these letters you need to report them to the states BBB, they will only act if they get complaints in volume. Also inform your states trucking association. (ie. OTA -Oklahoma Trucking Association)

It is a scam. Many companies try to scare you into buying their products by sending you official-looking documents telling you you'll be out of "compliance" if you don't purchase them. The companies that make the mandatory employee posters that companies must have do the same thing, although at least they provide a legitimate service. Ignore, ignore, ignore.

DO NOT SIGN UP FOR THIS SCAM.  I am a current DOT Compliance Manager for a large company.  I am a former consultant with another huge consulting firm (one that never uses this trick).

The training is required by law.  Someone already posted about if you are in a TPA you will be told if you need it.  DO NOT BY ANTHING FROM THESE SCAREMONGERS.

USDOT does require the training!!! No matter how small or large your business is! http://www.fmcsa.dot.gov/rules-regulations/ad ... spx?reg=382.603

However, you must use discretion on who to get that training from. http://www.fmcsa.dot.gov/about/news/new-at-fm ... ol-testing.aspx  This article warns companies about aggressive marketing.

We, too, have received numerous faxes and letters from this number. I do NOT trust it. I did go to the website listed and ended up with a virus on my boss's computer!! What a nightmare!

We searched for an alternative way to become compliant without costing a lot of money. JJKeller's DVD training is $365!  We found one through OSHAcampus.com  and it cost $59. I researched it and it is legit. You get online training (& it's not dry and boring either!)...also a PDF of the whole course to download and/or print off for your files. During the course, you take tests every so often and at the end there is a final test. You get a certificate saying it's all completed at the end.

I called our local DOT agency and they said that once it's completed, you do not ever have to redo it. The certificate is good for as long as that person works with the company. If they leave, then someone else will have to do the training, so it's best to have the owner of the company do it.

The direct link to the supervisor training at the OSHAcampus.com website is http://www.oshacampus.com/reasonable-suspicion-dot-training.cfm

    Good luck!

If you call 202 480 2900 and press 1 they will give you a chance to get off of their notice list. They are bogus and you can do the training yourself with the proper preperation.

We keep getting these faxes from "Supervisor Compliance Training Dept." from Wilmington DE with a DC fax number despite calling their "remove" list at least 2 times.  This is a scam, their "office" is basically a drop box.

This is a total scam, do not fall for it. Your BBB can tell you that. These people do have a legit web site, but still totaly scammers. They have had 6 reports on them to the BBB,  and on BBB
web site they have an F rating. If you really need to know for yourself that this is a scam then contact your Federal Dept. Of Transportation 1-800-333-4636  Also if you try to sign up to take the class instead of doing it on the computer, they will tell you unless you can get atleast 25 people to attend then they can't come to your town

We received our second compliance notice for Drug and Alcohol Awareness Training.  It lists the regulation that mentions having an employee with one hour of training.  It stressed that we "Do not risk FAILING A D.O.T. AUDIT because of non-compliance."  They also mention that they have been authorized to increase the cost of the online training from $99 to $149.  It was signed by someone but no printed name appears.  They are the Supervisor Compliance Training Department, 1201 N. Orange St. Suite 7138 Wilmington, De 19801
