Just got called never picked up and they didnt leave a voicemail

Just got a call from this number I didn't answer it because I didn't recognize the number. They didn't leave a message so I googled the number and found this site

I received a call from this number more than once, I think. But I actually answered this time, and all I heard was some robotic-sounding voice and I hung up after about 3 seconds.

About 4 weeks ago for the first time ever I inquired about a Carribean  Cruise. I contacted only 1 comaany and 1 company only , on line and telephoned them. I called Carnival Cruise. Now, I am getting these calls concerning Free Travel tickets, gargabe.So check to see if you have made any inquiry online or off in traveling abroad or contacted them.

Missed call at 8:10 PM CST.
The White Pages lists this number as a cell phone. Area code and prefix are from Washington, D.C.
White Pages also lists the phone number originating from Westchester, DC.
Job recruiters do not call after office hours.
Worthless. Ignore or block.

The robo-caller remains active. Got a call on my business cell phone today.

This number just called my personal cell phone. Didn't answer, no message.

I received the call on my personal cell, I didn't get to it in time and they left no message. However, I know people in the DC area and called it back and it makes the busy sound.

You "pressed 1 ?"  Oops.  A friend has a phone system that will not accept incoming calls with hidden numbers - and asks you to "press 1" to continue.  Pressing 1 causes phones with call-blocking to "reveal" their numbers.

1)  If you answer your phone (or when asked, "press 1," revealing your number), your number is stored with a list of other "valid" numbers and later "sold" to telemarketing companies as a valid number to call.  This is like email scammers who, if you reply to their emails, know your email address is a "real" email address - which they can sell to other email marketers.

2)  If you get to the point of actually answering their survey questions, your answers provide them with specific demographic info about you - allowing them to sell your number to telemarketers who use "targeted" marketing.  In short, if you answer their survey questions, your number is more valuable to other telemarketers.

To stay legal (assuming they want to), they might even give out a single "free trip" to the Bahamas one a year.  But, it's probably just a scam to get as much demographics out of you as they possibly can.

I got the call 20 minutes ago, didn't answer & no message was left.

O.k. so first I got a text from this number that read "[***]."    ok??? hmmm..... then i get a phone call from them with that same as the above mentioned cheesy voice recording about the cruse.... WHATEVER!!

Yes, I also received a call from this number on my cell phone.   I don't give out my cell phone number to many people.   Someone else said it must be a robo dialer kind of thing, so it's calling numbers at random.  Was wondering how they got MY number?   I missed the call, though, and googled the number to see who it might've been.  I won't worry about who they are now!

Question 3 was about my sexual preference.  And # 4. Was ......my race!!!!   Un [***] real. I eventually called back and to my surprise....someone was stupid enough to answer......that's when I asked this M Fer if his mother enjoyed anal as much as his father.......after about 20 seconds...he finally hung up........hey at least they don't call anymore
