When those scam artist call just tell them you work for the FBI. They will hang up fast. They call me also something about grant money I'll get 9,000. Which I knew that was a lie right off.

Got a few calls from this number today.. Some said they were giving grants and other calls just hung up.  This is a scam.. You can no get a grant with out applying.

wanted to lend me money needed acct number and 180 dollars deposit

annoying when they call and i tell them i cant talk because i have to run a gun range and cant take the time to talk, and to also not call me anymore, it is pissing me off.

Same - calls.  Calling back the number isn't listed.  Very cool.  I might have to get one of those disposable credit cards that you can reload and give them the info.  It would be most interesting to contact VISA and ask them who accessed it.  I mean... go ahead, give me $7000.  I'm happy to file it as income.  Might even report them to the IRS.  Hm, now that's a good plan.

I've just got a call from that number.  The guy had a heavy accent.  He told me that he is calling from the Department of Defense in Washington, DC.  He asked me a question if I'd accepted the money.  I could not hear him well.  He transferred me to his 'supervisor', a female.  There are many voices heard during this call.  I could not heard them well.   All of a sudden the call terminated.

It is a fraud going on.

Got a call form this guy today at 202-559-7648. Could not understand what he was saying, then he just laughed and hung up. Very annoying.

8 calls in one day . no one talks .. maybe gathering info not sure ..

This person seems like from India, has a strong Indian accent has called me twice today.  Very annoying, singing Indian songs and breathing heavy, IDIOT!

Same deal - Got a call like 10 mins back and was told about some $9K grant. I asked them to tell me my name if it's a legit call.  The guys started threating me asking whether I wanted the money or not.  I told I don't unless he can prove the call is legit. Then his supervisor came on phone and gave me 253-220-7288 number and talk to Judie Taylor, their so call 'account manager'.  I never called and know for sure it's a scam. Beware folks.

so i just got the 7th call in two days from this number!!  When i tried to call it back after the 6th time, it says that the number is "disconnected".  I finally answered on the 7th.  Just for my own amusement (and passive-aggressive fulfillment) I entertained the caller.

The guy was almost impossible to understand.  He asked if i would like to receive a "tax free grant" that would never need repayment, and i enthusiastically replied "YES, THAT WOULD BE WONDERFUL!"  

At this point, he got a little more crisp with his speaking, and began to ask me for my "information" so he could start "getting me signed up".  I asked him if he slept ok at night, and he didn't answer.  I asked him if he thought i was a complete idiot...and he hung up.  

This is not even a fun scam to string-along.  These people are half-witted, unintelligible, and very disorganized.  I wonder how it's even worth it to them to make the calls.  They can't even pitch their deception clearly!!  What incredible moron fell for this and made them think it was worth repeating??!!  

I give it a 2 on the SCAM-SCALE, and if you get a call from this number, don't even waste your time trying to mess with them.  They are idiots.

if you have Verizon you can block the number.  which is what I did.  why can't the FTC stop stuff like this?

told the guy that I would take 10, please send to me....maybe he is from the indian computer service I have had trouble with, any of you have computer service problems?

Received a call from this number said I could receive the money three ways bank account , debit card or western union. But I had to put down a $300 deposit and I would receive the money back totaling $9300 all while she stayed on the phone to confirm the transaction. All because I pay my bills on time. She said it was a loyalty grant. If a grant is free why would I have to pay $300? And why can't she deduct it from the money I'm supposed to receive.... Got my spider senses tingling

I received two calls today, at 11:00 AM and again at 3:00 PM.  Caller sounded like he was Indian or Pakistani, and said he was calling from the "U.S. Government Grants Office."  I told him he should learn to speak English if he is going to work for the U.S. Government, and hung up.

He is still using the same number. Will call DC Police to see if they can do anything.
