Just got a call from this number their new scam is that people are trying to hack into my email. They have called on the land line for months even before I had Internet at my house.

Yeah -  guy with a foreign accent called saying he was Microsoft and needed to talk with me about my computer. Since it is physically impossible to reach Microsoft even when you do have a problem, it seemed very unlikely. Will block.

Same guy called this morning. I've taken these calls before and played along with them for a while wasting their time.Their scam is that they try to get you to give them control of your computer so they can supposedly fix a problem for you. I was pressed for time so I flat out told him he was full of B*** S*** and hung up.

I got a call this morning from this same guy about my computer. I told him to put me on his do not call list. He shouted... NOOOOOO! Then said he wanted to sleep with me. I put my husband on the phone, who told him off, and he said he wanted to sleep with my husband too... at which point my husband told him what he could do and hung up. LOL. Apparently, from the volumes of comments on this board alone, he spends all his time on the phone getting his jollies. What a sicko! I blocked him on my phone.

I have asked to be removed from caller list, he hung up. I have 50 missed calls from this number in the last 3 weeks.

Got a call from this number too, but I didn't answer.  If you type the phone number on Facebook and do a search, his profile comes up.  His name is Jose Zapata.  He is originally from the Dominican Republic currently residing in DC.

This is a non existing number. Probably a war dealer. Nothing was said and hung up.  Ticks me off, we pay good money so we have phones and we can't get protection from scammers. Believe me the technology is out there to stop this but the telco companies won't because they make money off it.

man with heavy accent said he was with microsoft and he needed to fix my computer for a virus. He told me to go on my computer, when I told him I was on my computer, he called me a liar, and he kept calling me a liar. I told him I was recording this call and was turning it over to the AG. i also asked him who's the liar now. he hung up.

I have gotten 4 calls from this number since yesterday, 2 that have been within the last hour. Yesterday, when he called the second time he threatened to mess up my computer if I didn't listen to him and do what he was saying. Today I just told him to quit calling me. The guy has a foreign accent and doesn't seem to quit calling!

Some guy saying that my computer was sending an error message to them. He supposedly is calling about windows Microsoft and yada yada. He said my computer would be blocked because I didn't complied. I just hung up the phone.

Just got a call and was transferred to a supervisor as I played along with the microsoft technical support gag call saying that I have germs on my computer.  They had me type in a web address after confirming what browser type I use and asking what service provider I have (I lied to play along). Then they had me install a remote control software after they remotely confirmed the IP and internet route to their web server. It is based on teamviewer, which is a very powerful administrative ware for remote control of someone's computer.  Then they installed malware and ransomed my computer for 50 btc, after which time I hung up, but it was too late. My computer hard drive began to whirr uncontrollably, and the GPU processor got above 90° C before I smelled ozone. My computer was fried. Courtesy of these [***] from India. This is Phishing at its best and global terror will call you at your own home. Long live Jihad. Allah Akbar! They will call back if you do not insult them and they think they can still get into your computer. Good luck, America! They must have a lot of credits with AT&T because the did not mind being on the phone with me for 20+ minutes. Twice.

Same as all the others, played along, wasted his time. WHY Can't FCC get these scambags ? I hope people don't fall for these calls. This has been going on for a few months now.
