I just received a call from this number. My caller id stated "unavailable" name. There was no message left on my voicemail.

the law says that public advocacy issues are not part of the do not call list, so CWA is actiing lawfully.

They have a recorded survey regarding political position and views.  I hung up because they wanted me to answer questions about my ethnicity and the recorded survey does not give you the option to refuse a question.

Beware going to the website.  My antivirus blocked parts of it as a malicious website.  It attempted to connect with my network-

I got a call from 202-974-8147 on Wednesday, Sept. 1, 2010 at 7:11pm CDT.  It was an automated call, no real, live person.  They were conducting some sort of "very important survey".  The first question they asked was who I voted for in the November, 2008 election. No way to opt out, decline or request to be placed on a Do Not Call list.  I called the number back and got another automated system that reported nothing but full voice mail boxes. Very annoying.

We received a few calls from 202-974-8147.   It is a recorded message from Working Americans who is conducting a survey.

I googled WorkingAmerica and called them at 202-637-5137. They removed me from the calling list.

got call from this number 4 times today would like to know who it is

I am disabled, and am on the no call list.  Several times today my phone has been called by this number.  I do not answer it, but it causes me to check the caller ID.  Is the no call list not sacred?

I've gotten 3-4 of these over the Past few weeks.. It's Political messages and survey's. Being on the National No Call List will not protect you from these guys. When Congress and the FCC made the No Call rules they left Political calls out of the equation. However, they are not supposed to use robo-dialers.

Survey from a robot

They called 4 times in 30 minutes.  It is the AFL CIO, I am on the do not call list, I don't know why they think they can call me anyway.  I emailed them to tell them to quit calling my number.  If they persist, I will make a complaint to the FCC.

getting daily calls from this #.  machine call.  leaves voicemail.  hello this is jane from the afl-cio calling about an important...  very irritating.

These PAC's, (political action commitee's) are exempt from the Do No call List. Reporting them will do no good. When Congress designed th erules for DNC list they purposely exempted themselves and any advocate that calls on their behalf.

Got a phone call from this number tonight while I was at work, came up as missed call.  My cell is on the Do Not Call Registry - very annoying.

After doing a little digging, I traced the call back to a landline in D.C.

That creeped me out a little, as I don't know anyone from D.C. But, after reading some responses, it sounds like it was a harmless call making people aware of outsourcing. I wouldn't have minded taking this call if it were at a more convenient and reasonable hour (they called at 9:50 p.m.), seeing as how I hate outsourcing. But, all the same I am just glad to know who the heck that was.

I sick and tired of getting these calls. I'm on the no call list.

I "phone dodged" a call from this number at around 1:30 pm - they did not leave a message.
