I got a call from this number, too.  I checked on Google, turns out it's a credit collection company.

Just got a call from this number. I also googled it and found a collection agency. I only have one monthly bill and just paid it earlier this week, so they either have the wrong person or have some other purpose. No message left.

These guys behave like professional criminals

got a call from these scamming collection agency people claiming i owe them money for something i dont even have! when i asked for proof that i owed this they started screaming in the phone! i hung up but they consistently keep calling. i think im going to report them if i get another phone call cause it seems like they are more scammers than anything else! if you cant show proof for something that i owe then i doubt your a collection agency!

I get calls from them going to my voicemail. The caller IDs themselves, then gives the toll-free number to call, followed by a 6-digit reference number, without IDing the biz. One such mysterious call began with a question to ensure the person called knew their postal code, so sensitive information wasn't wrongly disclosed. In the end, the caller and I argued about a non-existent contract and I hung up. Their number is blocked from my cellphone since then.

The most Rude and ignorant people. To deal with @ commercial credit agency.

If you do get calls from a collection agency I'd suggest to take it seriously. It might even be a fraud account you were not aware of before. You would be surprised how easy people can steal one's identity and open all sorts of accounts with a bogus address but in the end ruin YOUR credit. Ask to speak with a supervisor if that person screamed at you. There is all sorts of people working in the collection industry and there's always a black sheep in any ground ;)

Called at around 5:00 pm ast . November 14, 2017. I didn't answer the call. No message left. I have no debt of any kind.

This phone number keeps calling no messages and when I searched it is a credit collection company, I have no arrears and when I called they gentleman they put me forward to hung up on me ?? Scam or poor. When I called back they couldn't connect me with anyone to make a formal complaint.  Derrick the manager is the one who hung up on me, than Glenn fixed issue?

As I said before they should switch the person with the "threats"  she is becoming familiar and so is the threat....I should give them my Sergeants number at the police station that would be interesting.

Says they are from Commercial Collections Agency. They cannot even get the name correct.  Scam

"Carlo" (no last name) from this number has called me several times and left messages to call back. He never says what the call is about. Sometimes he leaves a "reference number", sometimes not. The company is apparently "Commercial Credit Adjusters" https://www.cca.ca/en/contactus.html, if you believe websites, which I don't since anyone can easily create one and having one doesn't mean that a company is legitimate. There is no way this company is calling me about a legitimate debt or credit issue because I don't have any. They aren't calling about any kind of fraud because if that is an issue, your bank or credit card company will call you immediately. I suspect this company is shady and that this may be a scam for people to "confirm" (i.e. give out) confidential information that will allow these guys to fraudulently use their identities. Personally, I think it's possible that these guys got my information from the Canada Student Loan information that was stolen from that government laptop some time ago. The reason I suspect this is because they also left a message for me on my mom's home phone, which is a phone number I haven't used or given out since I went to university 20 years ago. Anyway... as a result I have blocked this number and will never be returning their calls. I may also report them to the police, just in case.

Yep these guys are sure prankers it's a complete hundred percent scam! They should be reported to the police!

Collection agency looking for Tammy Mckay, not the first time that that's happened. She should pay her bills.
