This is a scam they keep calling my mother's phone asking for some random name.

Lady her Name Wendy, Left a message on my landphone
Just mentioned my name and asked to call her back on that no. She also left her extension no.
She didn’t spelled my name correctly. She didn’t say any thing about the reason of her call . I googled the phone no. Of the company, it seems collection agency, however
I have no issues with any payment. Seems scam.

Scammers they will try and call you from all sorts of different numbers . I blocked them .

Same here, keep calling my  number (new no.) and they leave messages without giving the name of hte company they work for??!! I called back asked to stop calling my new number. I finally found out it was for my EX who now lives in California (I'm in Ontario, Canada) for 20 yrs. Marjory on the phone asked me for his number and I told her 'why would I give you the phone number I don't even know who you are??!!' She hanged up, I called back to number and she picked up without even giving a name of company was like a personal phone with a 'hello" I told her to not call my number and hang up on me twice. She said, 'OK' and hanged up on me again, WOW!!! don't care if they look like they have a pro site they are basement working criminals!!!

That does make sense, it's old depts bought by credit agencies but if Bell haven't pursued legal action within 2 yrs of the depts then by law you don't have to pay for it. It's at your discretion. Hence why Bell sells those debts  for pennies to these scammers who works in very shady ways.

I got a call on my new number for my ex (20 yrs ago!) we owed a house and when it was sold the Bell account (had no choice was the only company providing internet in that area!) was not closed as we asked and my ex left for California (us being in Ontario) - There was a 2 months or so that was billed and he refused to pay it since it was their error which we proved we sold the house a few months prior.

The woman named Marjory was very unprofessional, hanging up on me when I refuse to give his number in Cali, she didn't give me any info at all on who she is and expect to gain private info on someone I haven't been with in 20 yrs???? WOW!!!!!!!
