not for money they're doin a survey for anyone who was on Workers comp to ask how they are dealin with life now...they call me non stop when i have already told the lady not interested. its prairie research sounds like they get hired to do a bunch of surveys for companies. .annoying

Prairie Research, called three days in a row each day I said I wasn't interested on the third day I asked to be removed from the calling list at which point the lady got rude and hung up on me LOL.  

I got a call today from this number, strangely enough after I posted about a spammy number yesterday in area code 450..  Are they trolling here for info or something?

Everytime I post something geared at some form of government corruption ie..fb twitter it seems that within an hour or so this number calls. If tested it and like clockwork , I post they csll ...courtesy of our lovely neighbors and all their compartmentalized government branches. The white light shines super bright on this soul big brother, thanks for noticing me

They called two nights in a row.  I called the number back and a recording said they are a research survey company conducting several surveys.

Annoying

There is nothing illegal about this. Do not call lists do not cover survey companies

They said it was Elections Canada and then I lost my cell signal

this number was calling me but never left any voice message. so annoying!

Called, did not hold the line

This number calles 14 times on my landline and 2 times on my cell.

Call is from Brandon or Winnipeg, MB.  When I called the number back the recording said it was the Research Centre of PRA,which is currently doing a number of surveys.  Basically, it's a call centre that does surveys for other companies. Those companies outsource cold calls because it's cheaper. Typically, if you sound interested they will pass your name to the other company for follow up.

Yes, I agree.  Also, if all those different  surveys all come from this same number, people, that is a big RED flag right there.  Do not answer any personal questions.  Better yet, do not answer.

How paranoid can one be.? Big brother...sheesh. This number is for a market research company that conducts surveys on many different topics.  Businesses and governments in YOUR country Canada (as well as in other democratic countries) commission these research firms to get input from residents of the country; consumers of products and users of services. If you’re not interested in participation simply tell them that....but don’t then complain about the services or industries etc they collect data for

If you want to put your phone number on the do not call list by all means, do it! Then you won’t be called hopefully. Note though that it’s not against the law to do surveys and conduct research nor is it against the law to dial a random phone number. You have the right to block certain numbers from calling you as well

I want this number removed from calling people. Just harassing to no end. This will stop.
