Caller ID may be spoofed (can be faked because telephone companies don't give a **** about YOU). Yesterday they claimed to be "Service Canada Security". Right. And I'm the Jolly Green Google. Ask the caller what your name is. Chances are they don't know and they hang up. Don't give them anything real. Don't give them anything the real agency SHOULD know about you. Lie to them, especially if they claim to have a warrant for your arrest. THAT is a lie. Ask them who signed the warrant, make them spell out the name and the court name and ask for the phone number so you can check it out. Use a LOT of their time. This gets you off their calling list because you aren't stupid.

They always call and never leave a message except to tonight! They left me 3 heavy breaths, so creepy! Blocking them now

They called and claimed they were a research for Manitoba lottery and they asked personal questions like how old you are my dad has dementia and answered a few questions. I flagged reported and block this number.

They claim they are doing a survey on behalf of the city where I live.  However, I'm in B.C. and the call is coming from Winnipeg.  Which is strange.  Also they are only surveying people between 18 and 64.  WTF?  When I searched the phone number, I found it belonged to MTS Inc, which is an engineering company based in Winnipeg.  I suspect the caller spoofed the number, so I hung up.  I'll be calling the city tomorrow to let them know.

I went down to city hall to let them know about this caller.  Apparently they were legitimate pollsters and were indeed doing a survey on behalf of my city.

silence then when I said "I can hear you breathing" they hung up.
