I get calls from this number from time to time... glad this site is here.. They call my cell I get on this site see who it is and then copy and paste it into my contacts and put the ringer on silent so when they call from this number again it doesnt even ring.. I have no idea what they want cuz I don't answer it and they never leave a message. I have never recieved anything by mail from this company so until I do and I can verify if I owe the bill or not they won't get [***] from me.. Ive been working very hard over the last 10 years to restore my credit after having to file for bankruptcy after a divorce.

I get calls from them all the time.  About 9 months ago they called the HR director where I work and told her that if I didn't call them back they were going to serve me with papers at work.  i called them and talked to a guy named Brian.  I ended up paying a old debt but it was never removed from my credit report. I was promised a letter stating that it has been paid off but still have not received anything.  I just received another call from them this morning.  I can only imagine what they want NOW!!!!

They have called me repeatedly over a bill that should be  off my credit (at least 8 yrs old if not older)! They are asking for $1300 on a bill that was originally $250. So not only is this an old bill but the charges are no doubt over inflated!!
They are rude and do not care to listen to what u have to say, even when you hit them with logic. "Why and how can you justify my paying you $1300 on a $250 bill that is 8 years old? I can not and will not be paying you!"  No response to the question... they just start getting rude and huffy puffy and that is what they get from me! You will not call me and treat me like the scum of the earth....Two can play at the rude game!
I just have fun with them and then after I piss them off I hang up! :)

Same here!  Trying to collect on an account that was charged off FOURTEEN years ago!  Total bottom feeder scumbags!  I told that my credit reports are spotless, so they can call until hell freezes over, I don't owe a thing.  Only getting calls about every couple of weeks now, usually when a new rep comes in, I answer, tell them to read the screen, stop calling, then hang up on them.

I have two outstanding debts, so I assume they are calling about one.  It is very simple to get them to stop.  DO NOT agree or admit to anything.  Ask for their address and your account number with them.  Do a Google search for a cease and desist collection letter, and alter it to fit your situation.  Be vague as possible.  Send this letter to their office certified mail or return receipt requested.  Costs about 5 bucks.  If they call you again, you can sue them in small claims court.  I have done this in the past and they stop calling immediately.  Wasting your breathe on a collection agent is pointless.  They have no power except to collect.

I don't know who this is....the number rings on my cell phone (a trac phone I bought that I haven't had long as a back up because I keep losing my "real" phone), so the number probably belonged to someone else in the area previously. Anyway, they call and if I pick up, they never answer....no one there. But then I googled the number and found this:

I agree with the whistle blowing technique...this is actually recommended by the police for harrassing calls. :)

That number just called me and no message was left.   Only debt I have was charged off in 1977.

Someone from this company calls my daughter's cell phone asking for "Michelle" all of the time even though I have called them and told them this is a child's phone number and no one is named Michelle.  Someone called her phone this past Friday afternoon and asked for Michelle. My daughter said there was no Michelle at this number and they threatened her with an ARREST WARRANT!!!!! Are they serious? I know that's illegal. I guess I'll have to write the a cease and desist letter so they quit harrasing my daughter.

same here. Port Folio Recovery call constantly and never leave any message but will listen for a while before hsnging up.

Yes this company is making hits to my credit and what they are looking for is has been over 10 years since it should have come off my credit report. I would like them to stop.

They call at home also, I dont know anything about them, please stop their calls

Google "fraudster Indian phone debt collector".   This is a scam number used by criminals in India to extort money from Americans.    You just need to report to police to arrest the [***] fraudsters.
