I got a call today at 2am. The guy knew MY NAME on the other end and was talking about adult porn. VERY weird. VERY creepy. I'm slightly frightened.

I get constant calls from this and number like it when call back no connections is made. I think it is from a scam opertations trying to get info

A lady called me from 1-206-336-7211 and said that she is registering me for the do not call list and will call back and leave a voice mesg with a code. She mentioned that she will call back again to register the code associated with this no on do not call list. Sounds like a scam.

I get repeated calls from this number, too. If it helps, I've used Skype for a landline since 2004. Often when my parents - who live abroad - ring me here in Seattle, a number like this appears on my ID. I've been guessing the dead calls with nobody at the other end were some kind of Skype spam I haven't figured out yet. If they're routing glitches - and I don't have any idea how that would work, but maybe somebody could elaborate? - maybe Sarah Palin will call. Or that French president from that Frenchland place. Or Mary Pickford. Mary Pickford. That would explain the silence.

I have a Seattle number myself, and I get calls from this number - about once or twice a week. If I answer, there is only silence on the line.
If I call the number, the call doesn't go through at all.

Weird.

As a quick update, I was not expecting anyone to call my on Skype either (I'm pretty sure no one I know is calling me via Skype). So it's all the more perplexing.

I get a call from everyday from this number 206-336-7211 and when I say hello no one answers but they hang up on me. I wonder if some creep is losing his mind. This is really freaking me out. Why everyday around 2:30 pm? Why please help me figure out about this mystery number I would greatly appreciate.

The number belong's to Skype.  When users on Skype dial numbers in Seattle, Skype uses the local number to connect the call.  Anyone calling and hanging up is a wrong number dial by a Skype user.  Making prank calls from Skype is also possible being that it wont get tracked to any particular users account.

Getting multiple calls on my private work number - given out to only select individuals.  When it goes to voice mail it leaves a fax tone in my voice mail.  When I call the # back - there is no ring tone or anything.  It started yesterday 4-29-2010, and is continuing today.  There were 8 messages in my voice mail when I arrived and so far 4 more calls have come through.

I've got an international call through Google Voice, and answering machine shows this number. So it is google voice machine or, maybe, an international gate.

This is a number that Skype uses when someone on skype is calling a Seattle phone number.  The odds would be that the caller is in a foreign country.  I got a skype call from Germany and this is how it showed on my ID.

i just got a call from this number too. i called back and got to answer..

This fool has mental problems and should be ignored.  He must be using a router for his calls.  He obviously sounds foreign.  Where ever he is must be totally different hours than here, that is why he calls so late.  don't bother calling him back, just block his numbers.  There is more than one and they are using a router in Florida also.
