Got a call from them asking if we needed help with Windows

Just got a call today, thick accent and all about my computer and they wanted me to do something and I said, "Absolutely not and don't call me gain."  He tried to argue and say why but I ended the call.

Got a call from this number.  Man with accent said he was from the computer center and asked how my windows on my computer was working.  I said it was working fine.  He then hung up when I tried to ask some questions.

got this call from this number 206-445-6544 they called my cell phone after 9 pm!! which is a violation I believe, I didn't answer! who calls someone after 9 pm!! Unless they are family etc.....

Caller ID said TRIKON. The male caller with a heavy Indian accent said he was calling because I am a "registered" user of the Windows Operating System (registered with whom I wonder?) and they were following up with Windows customers to conduct a checkup on my operating system. I asked if this was a service I had subscribed to and he said no. So I asked, then this is a sales call? He said no. I said I'm not interested and hung up.

It is probably someone named DAVID WATSON who will claim that you owe money on a paydayloan. He is calling me too

Same thing over here. I was about to pay them money in order to help me improve my cv and get better chances for a job overseas. Luckily, before I went to the bank I read about this being a scam. Thank you so much for warning me! Too bad, they arent serious and they are using people who are trying to fight for better futures themselves....
 Since our first discussion, i get calls from different numbers.:2064456544-----2064456568 and from 2533639006. I just don't answer them anymore.

This Indian sounding person identified guessed the operating system and mentioned my daughter's name.  Beware!!!!

Caller ID said 'TRIKON', didn't answer and no message left.  I'm considering buying a loud whistle and when they call again, I'll answer and blow the whistle as long and loud as possible.  I get this 'TRIKON' from different phone numbers.

They said that there were from Windows Live Messager and that there was a problem with our computer.  My husband asked them if they were trying to SCAM him and they got very defensive.  When he tried to get information from them they hung up.  Two seconds later they called back and said to hold for her supervisor.  The "Supervisor" asked if our computer was on, in which my husband confirmed and then they hung up again.

I keep getting calls from this number and when I answer all I get is a recorded womens voice saying "Goodbye"

The number is actually 011-20-64-456544 which means the call is coming from the city of Ismailia in Egypt. The connection was really bad and between that and the accent I could not understand much except something about Windows OS and whether my PC was running slow. I asked several times for the name of the company but could not understand it. Could have been Trikon. Warned them not to call again since I did not sign up for their service.

got a call.....have actually gotten several calls....this is the first time i answered.....an "Indian" man with a very heavy accent said he was calling in regards to my pc and my windows application and it's problems....??......except i don't have a pc.....humm....scamm???.....i think so......i hung up on him....

I answered the call. Woman from India. Asked for me by my last name.  I said she was not available and if I could take a message.  She did not leave one.  So tired of these stupid phone calls!

First the guy asked how I knew his name. Then said my compute was infected. I played along, until he asked me to go to the Control Panel. After that he he started crying, saying that I was wasting his time. Then he said that I was gay just like him.
Definitely a crank call.

Just got a call from a guy from Trikon with heavy india accent about my computer, "I said, what about it" and he hung up. Wierd!!! decided to look up the company and this is one of the sights I found, Good to know it's probably a prank call.... and nothing really wrong with my computer. here is the number he called from 253-561-7911

hmmmm.. got this call in Canada .. my caller said it was about my computer.  I recognized the accent as chinese... told him to remove my number from his call list ... and he said o.k. ... must be new at the game ... doubt my request will work though ... When I activated block unknown callers through my phone company, I specifically asked if it would block "computerized" callers ..and they thought it might .. but no such luck ... there really should be an application where "computer dial up" calls can be blocked ... have you ever noticed the switch over to another party? once you pick up ? .. ah well... I'm quickly using up my allowable 10 blocked numbers .......

I got a call last night about a Microsoft issue, virus, etc.  Did not speak English very well and when I told him my computer would only start up to the dos prompt and wouldn't go into windows, he wanted me to try it anyway.  Told him I didn't WANT to.  Kept him on long enough to waste his time, then told him as far as I was concerned my computer was dead, anyway and I wasn't going to mess with it.  I could not believe anyone would be stupid enough to open their computer for some stranger on the phone to get in to hack it!  I know people are gullible, but dang!  Hope they locate these jerks and send them to jail!
