just got this call. Automated voice saying won a Cancun vacation. Hung up immediately.

I just got a call from this number too. It has happened many times. This needs to stop. Who do I report it to?

My phone company is Net 10. Are they good about solving these problems? I also get a lot of other strange numbers calling me on this phone.

I have Net 10 also. I just got this call at work so... hopefully it will not happen again.

I just got a call from this number....it was some kind of pre-canned recording in Spanish, so I promptly hung up.  The only thing that showed up on Caller ID was the number itself.

Called me around 8:00pm pst on 1/26/2009 on cellphone - (For future protection, I saved the number to my contacts and labeled it "Don't Answer - Spoof"). Is there someone this number can be reported to? By the way, I have ATT as my cell service.

At 6:35PM PST I got a call on my cell phone from this number:  (206) 462-1796 with just a garble syllable spoken at the start of the VM.  

I had made an American Airlines reservation earlier this afternoon.  Is it possible this was connected to the American Airlines reservation?  Did anyone else do anything similar or is this just a coincidence (red herring)?  

Can't tell for sure if this went thru Grand Central.  Anyone else receive this call who has a Grand Central Account?  (If you don't know what Grand Central is then please ignore the question--it's an automated answering service.)

i got a call from this number at 5:08pm PST but i was working so i missed the call.  i was super curious, so i did a reverse number check and found out the call came from seattle??  after reading all these posts, it sounds like even that may not be the case.  glad i didn't pick up.

it's funny, i've never entered a number into google before, but i was so curious that i did.  it worked out well, i'll do it the next time a random long distance number calls me... i had no idea that these kinds of scams had made their way to cell phones, how the hell did they get my number?  

i'm canadian, eh!  my provider is rogers... seriously, how did they get my number?!

It actually showed up as +2064621796.  I've never seen a number with a + before it.  What does it mean?

I too got a call from this number but unfortunately I never had a chance to answer it.  

After doing a bit of research, it looks like it is cell phone provided by Verizon Wireless and is based out of Seattle, Washington.  

That's all I know.

I just got a call from this number and it sounded like they were speaking Portuguese.

Just got a call too. I was waiting for a repair man to call otherwise I don't answer these numbers. I have an 815 area code so 206 is really odd for around here. Yes the call gave the same dropping of the phone noise followed by the cash register and a lady speaking spanish. Thanks Claudia for clarifying what they were saying! Your best bet is to just not answer.

I too, have an 815 area code and the 206 made me wonder who could be calling me.  I didn't answer but Googled it.  Now I am glad I didn't pick it up.

I got this call today and called back from a blocked number and it told me it was a travel related call and gave instructions to be removed from calling list... but asked for number. i didnt enter mine in... i dont recomend you to either.

I got the same call too, and i called them back, it says "this is a travel related call, we will call you back shortly..."

I just received a call from this number as well. The caller didn't leave a message and I didn't pick up.

Received call today at work on government-provided cell phone (have AT&T) - spoke spanish right after I said hello and then I hung up.
