Got a cell around 1:30EST today. I didn't answer but I was curious and googled and got this site. I figured it was a scam anyway. If they call again I'll probably stay on the line to talk to someone then tell them off.

In Vancouver, BC just got the call to my cell. No voicemail.

In SFO Bay area. Just got a call on my cell (6:30 PST). I did not pick up the call. Got disconnected after couple of rings !!

spanish speaking recording, do not know what it is.  very annoying!

Just got a call from this number. Sounds like they dropped the phone then a cash register or some type of mechanical device then a recording in spanish...the only word I managed to catch was dinero/money (spelling anyone?). I hung up at that point. What i dont get is how they got my number. I only give it out to people i know...

I got this number on my cell. i answered it only cuz my man is overseas and sometimes uses calling cards. so it was some spanish lady recording. i was mad cuz i gont speak spanish and i hate when ppl try to talk it to me. so i thought okay if this is some dumb company you can usually press zero for an operator. so i did and some live spanish guy came on speaking and i said i dont speak spanish so who is this. and he laughed and said you like d*ck in perfect english. so i was like excuse me!! and he said p*ssy (again in english) and hung up on me. but when i call back it is an english recording for a travel something. ugh i was sooo mad. i wish i knew what it was...

I Got a call from the number - called it back - it said it was a travel agency, & that it would call me back later.

They asked for my cell number to send sms msg alerts & it didn't send to me, but stored it anyhow.... I bet there somehow related to the number.

same register sound with spanish voice stating i had won something. go figure. i didn't press any keys as requested and then i hung up.

I received a call from this number as well. Only a few people have my cell number as I do not give it out. I did not answer because I was @ work. Googled instead and found this thread. Don't people have anything better to do than annoy other people?

Voice message from this number was blank. Came yesterday afternoon when my phone was off.

I got a call too on Jan 26, 2009 at 2:57 pm (Calgary AB, Canada). I didn't reply... I only reply to local calls. I am sick of getting those scam calls.

Hey, Everyone! I think it is my recently deceased mother trying to contact me. SHe said she was going to finally learn how to speak Spanish on the other side. And as far as the $1000 bucks, she did, on occassion, enjoy handing out a $1000 bucks to us kids and grandkids. Man, it is so chill to hear she is taken care of biz! She went out at 97years!

i had a call from this number yesterday and it was a recording saying i won a trip to mexico

apparently some drunk teenager keeps calling roughly five times every night for about the last month, cussing at me leaving harassing messages on my voice mail, and disrupting my business,

yuup got a call from this number... didn't recoginize the number so i didn't pick up... they didnt leave a vm and they never called back...

I got a call from these people last week.  
Be careful.  This may be a "let's see which numbers are active" call for another company.  Somebody mentioned a Magazine company.  Heartland Inc (515-251-5316) will not leave me alone.  I stopped answering their calls a couple months ago and they layed off for a while.  However, they used a bogus number a couple days ago which I mistakenly answered (816-349-9842, I think).  It sounded like a fax being sent.  Then 10 minutes later, someone from Heartland called me.  Now they won't let up.  
Don't answer the phone if you don't recognize the number and/or area code.  I'm paying for it on my "do not call" listed cell phone.

I just got a call from the number and the [***] was speaking in spanish.
They shouldn't even f**king allow cell phone calls for telemarketers, but some people are so dirty, the supervisors, and basically the company wants money made by any means necessary, so by us answering our phones that we pay the monthly bill on, they basically try to use that as the confirmation that you agreed to a service. Which is fraud as well, never ever insert your information on websites, like phone numbers and stuff. I know even yahoo messenger asks for phone numbers at times, or people sign into their account to chat over their phone, that is a drink begging for poison. Until they completely make accounts undiscovered (especially for young kids < although parents should be all over that in the first damn place) there doesn't need to be any private info placed in. I feel that even grown ups should be able to list their account under ghost, so that no one even knows of the account except their buddies that they know in person, because I'm sorry "we all don't live lives on the internet". It simply remains a tool. BEWARE, and contact this number to the FBI, immediately, we all should be able to make an impact with a stead amount of reports.

They are calling from a land line phone.

"I called the number back, and a woman speaking in English said that it was a travel call, and I should be called back shortly. But if I wanted to be taken off the list, enter my number and press 1. I wouldn't enter my number, that could be a lie to possibly confirm something."

Just got a call... answered it... same thing - all spanish after a cash register sound - i dont speak spanish though, but im assuming they said the same thing to me...

I just received a call from this number and it was a recording in English telling me that the were from my wireless company and to press 1 for rewards. I pressed 1 and then I was disconnected.
