These folks call me at least once a day, I have tried to talk to them, to tell them I am on the do not call list, but they just hang up.  Isn't it illegal for them to place pre-recorded calls for telemarketing and then hang up on me?

Rec'd call at 12pm et.  Same as others...number is "disconneted".

"Insurance Company" calling to talk to me about a job offer after receiving my resume. 1). I NEVER applied to an insurance company for a job and 2) this was the second call from the same company using a DIFFERENT phone number 626-213-2511.

I say we all get whistles and the next time these #$%@&! call, we get a live person on the line and blow out their ear drums!

The pre-recorded message was the same carpet cleaning message as at least 20 previous calls over the past 2 years. Different voice, but nearly identical message.

It always has "We're having a special in your area... 3 rooms... we'll add a hallway for free. Press 1 to be connected and 8 to be removed from the list."

This time I hit 1. As always, the person who answered gave a generic name "Carpet cleaning, this is Jeremy." When I asked for what city they were in, he hung up.

I receive a call from this number at 1:49am, unbelivable. I want to know if is a way to block calls from a certain number?

They called for carpet cleaning. When I asked to be taken off of their calling list, they hung up on me.

I just got a call from this number.  It is a TELEMARKETER calling to sell you carpet cleaning.  The number they list on the caller ID is FALSE.  They need to be reported to the FTC.

I've received repeated calls from this number ... it starts with "Hi, this is Daisy from the cleaning company ... we're running a special in your area blah, blah, blah".  If I wait until the end of the recording theres an option to 'Press 8' to be removed from these calls - I've done that repeatedly and still get calls!!! Last time they called I decided to press the number to schedule an appointment so I could speak to somebody ... as soon as I started mentioning I want to receive no more calls they just hung up the phone - how rude!  The next time I am going to waste as much of their time as possible asking questions and see if I can find out more about them - this kind of phone spam shouldn't be allowed - they call at various hours including weekends and evenings!  Previous calls have come up with no caller ID, but the last 2 times have been with this number.

This number called about carpet cleaning. When I called the number and asked how they got my number. They hung up.... Sounds real fishy. I'd watch out for this number. and do not accept what they are trying to sell.

This number was on my caller-ID. Message on my answering machine. Same kind of carpet cleaning shpeel that I have received in the past. Different number than before. I reported it to https://www.donotcall.gov/complaint/complaintcheck.aspx
It looks like this outfit has figured out how to fake what their true number is.

got the call twice in 15 mins. answerd the second time a recording of course. some guy from vegas trying to sell sports picks.thought it odd  since i just started 2 weeks ago doing a free football pick 16 ..

Same number told me to press '1' to build a bankroll for Vegas.  Can you believe that???

Third call from this number in the past month. I'm in southern Ontario Canada and got a pre-recorded message informing me that "my car warranty was due to expire" and that I should have my "vehicle warranty number ready" for some "great deals" on "car warranty extensions". I don't own a car. When I pressed 1 to speak to a live person, I told the male who answered that it was the third time I'd requested that this number be taken off their call list and he simply hung up on me. Judging by the other entries here regarding this number and the great variety of purported "services" that are being offered, I'd suggest that someone is persistently up to no good and perhaps it is time that law enforcement really should look at these guys a little more closely.

This number called me twice today (3:11pm EST, and 11:43 EST) and hung up on my machine both times.  I'm located in Central Ontario (Barrie area). I too am registered for the Do Not Call List. This is very annoying to say the least.

"This is a warning that your new vehicle warranty is about to expire...."  Complete B.S, since our "new" vehicle isn't and the warranty expired a while ago.

This number called today, its the first time i notice it. I am in Montreal Quebec (CANADA). when I call the number back it says it is disconnected. ????? hummmm...

I guess these people call from one end of the country to the other (Canada to Florida). I did not answer the phone since I did not recognize the number, and now I know I wont answer the phone if the call back again. I am also on the Do Not Call registry. I am having serious doubts that this registry actually works.

Cold calling should be illegal.
