Answering machine took the call - registered as "Local" here in southern Indiana - no message

Didn't answer said "Local call'

These people have been scamming innocent people for long enough.  Why does the telephone company provide service to criminals?

this is from a credit card company,I have no cr. cards.Told them before to stop calling,then when I press 1, the person on the other end asked why I pressed 1 Just tired of calls when on the no call list.

Just got a call from this number  and CID said Local.  wish now I would have answered it.  If is was about a credit card I would have told them I don't own a credit card like I usually do and this stops them dead in their tracks from calling again.  They don't quite know what to say then

Caller ID said "Test," I NEVER answer these calls.  Feel badly for those folks who get taken with this illegal/immoral stuff.

Caller ID said "Local."  However, the area code did not match my area code, therefore making it NOT local.
I did not answer and no message was left.

Caller ID "LOCAL".  I did not pick up - they did not leave a message.

Got a call at 10:35 am EST on 6/03/15 ID says Card services. Left no VM.

Got a call from this number did not leave a message. do not call again.

This call just came in and said Card Services.  I did not pick up because I did not recognize the number and was sue it was a scam call.  As I see here, it is.  Will be reporting and blocking this number.

Got a call from this number today - did not pick up - it said "local" .  I ignore all these and unknown number calls.

same thing here.  Test showed up on ID and no message was left.

SPAM about interest rates.  Probably offering no service at all just trying to get account info to steal funds.  "Local" sent as the spoofed caller ID but the number is nowhere near local. Call probably originated with overseas organized crime, channeled through a US voip provider using spoofed number ID.  New technology soon will remove anonynimty from this little trick.  Block before you get the call is my recommendation.

Fake number
