209-813-4131 left me the same automated message today. I'm seriously hoping this is a scam. I shouldn't have a single IRS issue! This needs to be handled & put to a stop immediately!

Just received this same call. His accent was so thick and so much static I could hardly understand him. Thanks to all of you who have posted here! Scared me to death! Glad I thought to look up the number. Will block from my phone. Thanks again!

IRS lawsuit - heavy accent - don't give them any info

caller was rude from the start. would not be SPECIFIC about what i did wrong. said i owed 2400.00 dollars. threatened to have me arrested within the hour. okay first, if the IRS was serious about someone owing them money, they would send you a CERTIFIED LETTER, to be sure that you had received and signed for the letter so as to not claim that you never got such a letter, not standard or third class mail, second the IRS deals in specific dollars and cents, i,e. $2415.31 cents, third, it takes a whole lot longer to file a warrant for an arrest than one hour. it takes time to specify the details plus have a judge sign his name to it in the middle of his or her busy day. the whole thing is just ridiculous. good luck and i hope the real law gets these people.

Claims I owe IRS. Pure scam. It's Christmas time, these crooks need our money!

Same thing just happen to me on 12-12-2015... BIG SCAM

They called saying I owe $2400 and must pay now then they will send the information. If I don't pay, the IRS will be at my door with the documents claiming the law suit..He had a heavy Indian accent and said his name was "Frank Smith"...and gave me his Badge #....that was nice of him.. I told him no way I am paying over the phone and  to send in the dogs!  Sure!  I told him I was going to report him to the IRs!

Poorly made recording informs me that it is from "The Department of the Internal Revenue Services" and that they have been trying to contact me as they have filed a lawsuit against me.
The caller then directs me to dial a number that is located in  New York City (Bronx, Brooklyn, Queens).
