Foreign sounding Guy wanted to get into my computer and "fix" it . He told me it was full of viruses and would crash by midnight that night .He had my home address and family name which he could have gotten from a phone book . I gave him a  hard time and laughed at him and he told me to go do something that is anatomically impossible I told him he was very professional and to do the same if he had the equipment.

I got the same call three times in the last three hours, when I answer no one at the end of the line and it hangs up. Caller ID was Long distance 1-210-249-0540

Had the call too.I didn't ask any info from them. First , he wasn't speaking french.
Then he finally told me that my computer was infected with bla bla bla and he could tell me how
to clean it. I hung off. TOTAL SCAM !!!!!

A guy with an heavy accent called me purporting to be a PC support tech. He told me that his name was Harry and he was calling because I was using a Microsoft Genuine product. He claimed that he was receiving error reports from my computer communicating with servers. He wanted to take remote control of my PC trough the teamviewer website (http://www.teamviewer.com). I asked if he had a support call ticket number or anything that was proving that he was not hijacking me. He kept saying that computer were complex machines and that it was his job to help me solving the problem! My caller ID gave an unknown caller with this number 210-249-0540. According to Wikipedia, area code 210 belongs to the state of Texas in the San Antonio area. He reached me in Canada...

i received a call from this number asking me if i was looking for insurance quotes, they told me tha they would come to my house on thursday and deliver quotes to me personally, they didnt ask where i live strange

I receive a lot of call from this phone number.They say that they were from Microsof compagny. They told me that I may have a spam on my computer and I have to load team viewer and then they will be able to help me. I haven't answer the other time and then they don't stop to call.!!!

I just got called and got the exact version, he wanted to know my remote control code... I said there is no way im giving you that info...

I just received this call from someone saying he is from Microsoft. He tells me my computer keeps sending error messages to Microsoft and that he wants to show me how to solve the problem (slowing down of my computer) by typing AAMMYY in Google Canada.

I don't trust such calls and told him to call back. Expecting to get more info from the caller.

You say there is "apparently" no way to block them. Did you try? How many times?

Got a call from them too.  Same pattern - foreign accent (possibly East Indian) telling me that my computer is sending out error messages.  They asked for me by name but then again, my number is listed so not big surprise.  Listened a few seconds of his dialog and just hung up.  No tollerance for that BS.

Thanks for your update, I faced huge problems with my computer at home but suddenly i call the impcsupport after saw them on google and they helped me. To be honest when i told them my computer has many problem and they detected it and removed all the errors and fixed my computer. One more thing i found good with them that with their service i have 1 pc and 2 laptop and they cover all of them in one cost. I am pretty happy with their services and their technicians are really patient while listening to my problems and resolving them all. I have to say I am happy with www.impcsupport.com. I have also referred my friends and they are also happy with them.

This number calls everyday asking for my dad, when they hear it isn't a male they hang up. SO FRUSTRATING my number is x directory so I should not be receiving these calls!

Aparently this is someone calling from Texas.......Gina Roberts........Don't know her and I don't want to hear from her again.

This number has benn calling me a few times in the last week. Finally today, I spoke qith a lady who called herself Sammy (a strong jamaican accent ) She said that my PC had been sending messages to her office in winnipeg(this number is really from The State of Texas) and that she needed to get into my PCX to correct certain things. I told her that i would call her back and she gave me the following number 204-800-2612. This information was just given to the Laval City Police and they will investigate. JD

It's funny how everybody receiving call from this number.. and nobody has tried to take them down? Will I have to start action on my own? (I'm working for Department of Justice, I have plenty of contacts! who can take those rats down)
I will take the whole company down if I do something, but I'm not that mean. I leave them a chance. I just hope they can read this message before they call somebody with a shorter fuse. They must be new in the scamming industry. But if I get one more call they are all going to prison.

Second time he started taking about me having virus, and he has a indian accent.. 1+1 = 2
I say, listen up you stupid wannabe scammer, you're not even good at it.. u got that stupid [***] INDIAN accent and you call people (especially me, a computer engineer?) and you telling me that I have a virus? You already called twice, I'm working for the DOJ, call me once again and you will have big problem, capitcho? I hope you understand?

Just got a call from that number.  The lady had an accent and she told me her name and the company she was working for (don't remember though).  She told me something was wrong with my computer.  I told her I didn't have one...  She was really confused and apologized.  I have a computer but i'm not stupid....

Hi. First of all, I'm French Canadian so my first language isn't English but I do have a pretty good understanding of it and can talk to people in English.

So We received 4 calls of this number.  3 times on June 15 and 1 on June 18 (today).  I believe I answered to one myself on the 15 and they hung up. The other two were missed.  The one I received today, an actual person answered and asked for my mother.  I asked what was the call for.  Then, the guy with a big English accent and then said that my computer had a virus. I said that both of my computers had anti-virus and that I knew everything I was alright and I would know if something was wrong. The guy went rambling with something with needing my name and e-mail address and I said I wouldn't give him that. Then, I hung up.

This IS a scam.  Don't get tricked.
