Some days I am receiving up to a dozen calls from this number, all faxes to my cell phone, all between midnight and 8 am.  I would love to find out who this is; when I try to call it I get a recording for "invalid destination number". Any thoughts on how I can take action to stop this annoyance?

Get calls from this number often. Never answer.ID said Novatel. I reported them to Do Not Call registry!

DO NOT sign ANYTHING especially the NDA ( Its worthless anyway you can not be taken to court for being the scamee) it is a SCAM just to get ALL your information and to rip you off

[***]... with this area code BUT it was a (recording) call we have been waiting for.  It was Manitoba Hydro scheduling our OLD fridge and freezer pickup.  I imagine they hired some company that hires out  for this kind of work and in this case it WAS bonifide!

This number started calling last night between 9:30 and !0:00 p.m.  I received two calls today wiithin 30 minutes.  All callers with strong foriegn accents.  Last night it was about my computer and to turn it on and he would tell mr what to do, he stated who was with MSN.  Today he told me I had been selected for a 8000.00 government grant and was with the Treasurt Dept. in Washington DC.  He hung up after I said that he had called me last night.  Next a lady called stating that she was from Washington D.C. and her name was Linda.  I asked what did she want and she told me to just hang-up, and then hung-up on me.  I'm certain that this some kind of scam.  Beware!

Got a call from this number on a rstricted line, no voicemail, no communication whats so ever.  Will call and have blocked. As usual I think I ahve more spam blocked calls in my phone then actually rec'd

Should be a law.
Don't these people realize that they are tying up the lines for customers to call in???

they left a message about lowering the interest on my credit cards

We've receive 4-5 calls a day from this number.  I've filed complaints with the national and state do not call list registries.  We'll see if the calls stop.  So annoying.  They say they represent credit card companies and want to reduce interest charges.  If you tell them you're on the do not call list, they hang up only to call back a few hours later.  Verizon said they can block this number, but they charge $6.10/month!  Really?????

I have had a phone call from here wanting me to sell some my shares for a really good price. I can't say which ones as I have apparently signed a non-disclosure agreement. The firm proports to be Elkin and Associates, but I don't think it must be confused with http://elkinassociates.com/
The one from the email I received has has a different brand new web address. I have not got to the bit yet where I have to put up money to instigate the process but no doubt it will come.
Could this number be some special number that firms can use as a buffer so that they cannot be identified?

Called 4 times wanting to check my information for a new or used car. I told them repeatly I didn't need  a car. They had all my infomation from a credit file. This scares me that such people could have my private information.

This number calls me on my business line so I have no choice to answer but, when I do, nobody's there.

I got a call today at 11:39 am from 210-249-0540.  My phone showed the name Novatel and the phone number.  It was a male with a foreign accent who said he was with the government and wanted me to verify my address.  I told him I wanted to know what the call was about.  He then asked if I had a single family home.  I said I want to know what government agency he was calling from.  He would not tell me.  He then just hung up.

Just called and said nothing, stays on phone and hangs up

Called twice, no messages left.

Called many times over the last few days, always silent if answered. We've not even bothered answering the last seven or eight calls from them... God knows who this is, but it's damn annoying. We're in the UK, by the way...

Got this call today and they left a message stating I or my lawyer needed to call them back ASAP.   They are scammers telling you that you owe someone for a payday loan you never took out.   They will threaten you.   I wasnt able to take the call but hoping they call back soon and I will threaten them right back!   These ppl obviously believe we americans are so stupid that we dont know who we owe what!
