received mostly unintelligible message from this number....wanted call back...mispronounced my last name.  I have no idea who is calling.

Citibank regarding a credit application.

Foreign caller (Indian accent?)  tells you your Citicard has been compromised than asks for card #.  Can you imagine!  (message left on machine)

Said they were from Sears and there was identity theft on my acct. I don't have a Sears account.

got a call stating my Sears account was comprimised and need to send out a new card

I traveled through Dallas-Fortworth airport on a trip. The next day I got a phone call from this number, they tried to get personal information. THIS NUMBER 210-677-1346 IT IS A SCAM to steal your identity. Never give any one who calls you any information ever. Turn off phone or at least auto roaming when in an airport or any public place. This is how they got my phone number.

got a call from this number saying that he was from citigroup and since I was expecting a call from CITI BANk , i unloaded on him! he told me he would call back.I then call back the # (210) 677- 1346 I was surprised it was a telemarketing BS!!!!

I received a call from this number stating they were from Citi Early Fraud Protection. Being cautious, I decided to call the number on the back of my CC to check with them. Lo and Behold there was a block on my credit card. Not saying that the original call wasn't a scam. Always do due diligence and call back a verified number rather than the number the caller provides.

Caller left message it was citi calling about mortgage, but when number was called back recordings stated a medical alert service and then dish.      This is a cimplete scan and violates telephone consumer laws.

do not call back is 100% scam. It said someone may be trying to open an account in sears with my name. I called sears and it is a lie. [9:58:18 PM] *** 12106771346 *** no one will also call that late about a card

My husband's cell, my cell and our home number receive constant robo calls from this, and several similar numbers. I KNOW the calls are from some intity attempting to steal our private information and I have warned my husband  (he's 13 years my senior at 72 years old and not computer literate) not to answer calls from any number not on our personal caller lists. Unfortunately, some people out in the world are, like my husband, less informed and more trusting than myself and that is how this intity manages to destroy people's lives.

I am hopeful that the FCC will go after this and other information-stealing intities and actually press Federal charges against them! Unless more complaints are lodged, these intities will continue their illegal habits. Please lodge complaints so their (complaints) sheer numbers will raise a red flag to the FCC.

Phones don't work that way. The way they got your number is called "wardialing", they set up an auto dialer to randomly dial numbers, waiting for someone to pick up to verify it's a working phone number. Ever see "Wargames"? Remember that scene where the kid has his computer dialing random numbers to find a modem to connect to? It's like that.

Anyway, I contacted Citibank's real number, reported the phone number to them, and mentioned I didn't have a single Citibank issued credit card.

They called and ask to confirm my date of birth

They claim I got a sears credit card, and stopped fraud stopped.  Asked me for info also, and if I don't believe them, I should call Sears.  Then call them back and give them personal info.  It was a female voice without any foreign accent.  They also left vmail when I don't answer.

Calling in regards to my recent request. I told them I didn't request anything from them. Then she wanted to verify my date of birth so she could cancel the request. I told her to let me know what she had & I'd let her know if that was correct. She said legally she couldn't do that so I said well that's too bad and I couldn't help her. She hung up.
