I just received a call from this 212 372-7274 number from a Paul Bishop and and Mark Edwards stating I owe 4,000 bucks for a payday loan! When I asked what company this was he stated something something law firm.. His accent was very strong and of course I asked please speak slowly.. I made sure to inform him that he was incorrect and he had the wrong person. He made it clear that I was in trouble and I was being sued when I gathered all the info I needed I told him I was placing a fraud alert on my credit!! And calling the police on him and his company. I then asked to speak with a supervisor and he hung up!

WOW! This is scary to me! I am young and yes in the past did not take my credit serious! But now I am very very protective of it and YOU WILL NOT PLAY WITH IT! IDIOTS!!!!!!!!

Called my work saying they were going to send investigators by and I would be taken to jail. Would not give me any info just kept calling back.

I get several calls from these people at all times of the day begining as early as 5:30 am.  They leave a message.  So, they also left a message at my place of employment, we called them back and they asked my boss for her social securtiy number because she ahd a lawsuit for crimal activity being filed against her and she would be going to jail!  We find this crazy that someone would do this.  They don't even know who they are calling.  These people need to stay out of America!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have bben getting the same message from this number.  They have also called my place of employment saying I owe them money and they are going to get me fired from job and arrest me!  I do not even have any loans!!!  How can I get them to stop calling me!!

No One Worry, these are simple instructions to defeat these scammers, this is the second time they tried me. Tell them that you are not verifying anything. If you've ever taken out a PayDay Loan online, or did any online banking on a different site other then the usual. They can phish your information from other companies website.

This is what you need to do. Tell them that you are going to report them to the FDC. You can go to www.FDC.com or www.FDC.org or www.FDC.gov I forget which one. Remember the callers Name, they will have an Indian Accent, and say their name is like John Smith, so that's Clue one it's a fraud. They will have all of your information, DO NOT VERIFY ANYTHING, don't even let them try to read anything off. File that complaint to the FDC, and after that your States Attorney General. Notify your Bank, because if anything is taken without your permission, it's a fraud claim. And you have the right to fight that.

These people keep calling me I dont have any loans they say they are going to call police
and have me arrested when I call them back they say they dont have a case number for me

Whatever you probably work for the company why did you settle anythin unless you really owed the mone!!

That is [***],  you know no police showed up at your home and arrested you.  Loans/credit issues are civil matters. Nice try scammer

I too have been getting these calls and have had a loan but it was pd back so i don't know what is going on here.

I got a call today from (212) 372-7274  Some guy with an Indian Accent. Said alawsiuit was filled against my name or social security number.  he verified my cell phone number and my bank info.  I had a loan with  a company but the people were paid back except one and they have me on a payment plan.  This bogus and these people need to stop.  They are harrassing me.

They also call from 516-717-1623. Same story…they threatened me with a criminal suit, etc. FIrst "Andy Hunt" with a thick Indian accent said he needed my attorney's number. I don't normally keep an attorney on call, so I tried to get as much information from him. FIrst he said there would be a criminal case filed against me in California superior court in a non-existent county in California. He then rattled off the charges against me, including some federal charges. As soon as he said the non-existent county I realized it was a scam. Scary thing was he had all kinds of personal information on me. I hung up on them, and tried calling them back. They answered with a barely audible hello with a bunch of noise in the background. These guys are at the least scammers, at worst terrorists.

Interesting enough I to have been called by ACS just yesterday. The inital message came on my voice recorder from derek smith (He had a thick accent) He claimed that there was issue with ss number and that they had a strong case against my ss # .  And I needed to call ASAP his direct line.  I did not get home until 9.00 in evening I tried returning call to leave message.  The number he left had a message on it that started out FRAUD Im sorry this user cannot accept any more voice mail messages?  

So I called this morning Sat to see if I could find out about this.  When I called I indicated I was returning Derek Smith's call.  The response I got was who?  They then asked for my name put me on hold and then came back and said co-worker had my file.  A James Carter then got on line and identified himself as senior attorney for ACS and listed his badge number.  He said that they had a
received affidavit that I had taken out a payday loan from Cash Advance USA in the amount of 300.00 that I had not paid back.  ( I do have a couple of payday loans outstanding but not from that company)
I had not heard of cash advance USA before and I was not aware of any outstanding loan with that company. So I told them I would have to call them back.  I   since have found
a website for cash advance USA but it does not list a customer service phone number.  So I e-mailed this company directly to see if they had a outstanding account if so when was it opened etc.  I told them I was trying to determine if my identity had been comprimised.  I am still awaiting a answer.  In meantime I have placed a fraud alert on my credit reports. The call back number I was given for ACS was 347-289-3905 and was told it was based in Brooklyn NY.
I have since read all the posts about this company and feel I am yet another victim of this scam.

The honest people who are posting the truth about you and your associates are on your tail.Do you really think we are so stupid as to believe the dishonesty you are posting?
