Been receiving calls from this number for past few day, no one speak when answer. Thanks for identifying as scam, I've added this number to black list to automatically block by our best Ooma Telo system.  

Albuquerque is getting hit with this bogus robocall as well. It is generated  by a computer program and uses this number, but is really from somewhere else. The call center I believe is in Jamaca. These computers call thousands of numbers that it makes up daily, and when there is a ring, it stores it for future calling, until someone picks it up. Then a real live person responds with something bogus. So, use your caller ID and do not answer any number that you do not recognize.
The FCC can't keep up with this sort of thing. Caller's "do not call" list is helpless against these robocalls.

Just got a call from this slimbag - my mom passed away last year so I guess he was going to target her. In the end, God will serve the justice.

call from Roberto Ortiz about every other day, phone rings twice and the he/she/it is gone. never leave a message. no clue who or what he/she/it wants. the number is a NEW YORK CITY area code, I only know one person there and Roberto is not the name.

Yes. you're probably right. I got a call Friday, and another call today 8/21/2014. I am 78 years old,on a fixed income, retired disabled. I have unlimited blocking. They wont call from that number again.

I received the same call.  Is it possible the scammers are actually spoofing Roberto Otiz's actual phone number and it isn't Roberto at all.

Same thing here.  call came from Robert Ortiz and was made to my 92 yr old grandmother.  Thankfully she called me first and asked what she might have ordered.  I found this number on her caller ID at least 10 times.  They are relentless and preying on the elderly.

Same scam as others have reported. Do not fall for it.

My grandmother has received several calls from this number (212-662-4579). Researching more about this number I have come realize it is a scam geared towards the elderly.  My grandmother is 92 and is highly vulnerable to these scenarios. Its infuriating that companies would targets helpless individuals such as my grandmother and I do plan on contacting as many organizations as possible to ensure this disgusting type of behavior, from adults, ends. These companies should be ashamed of themselves.
