FRAUD COMPANY SCAM WARNING

I am shortly going to visit Kolkata with a team. Arranging some necessary facilities with the authorities. Concluding this scam company and its owners to a dead end shortly and effectively.

Hey I also had them call my home number today and my mom gave me the phone (as they do not know much about the computer) I knew something was up when he said their would be a one time fee and that my windows system was corrupt and would lose all my files.

When I told him I had to work and did not have the time to fix it now he gave me this number and said he would call back. We will see if he does. He had a thick Indian accent and my mom said he did not address her by her name at all. He was trying to tell me he could fix it while I was at work.

I have a friend who fixes my computer and I wanted to run any issues by him. The guy on the phone could not tell me what was actually corrupt (except windows itself) and he kept pushing. My friend informed me that it is a scam and now googling this number I can tell it is . My friend made a good point Microsoft has billions of customers and would never call someone to tell them there is a problem.

He also told me that when I go online it sends messages to them that it is corrupt. and his proof that my computer was infected was that it is running slow... sure!!! lol

Spread the word and tell other people so they don't get scammed!!

A real as*hole company. The background sounds like a prostitution center.

They said they were with Windows and my computer was sending error messages and they could help me. I did not give them information and looked up the number on the internet and bingo----big scam reported on them...They are out there trying to hack people. Don't give them information. As soon as you do not give them info and look the number up on the internet then call them on the scam, they hang up.

Got a call today.  Said they were receiving numerous infection warnings.  Told me where to go on my computer to see the event management screens, et al.  When I asked why this didn't just pop up on my computer in my Windows Center, he tried deflecting the conversation to "turn on my computer". Didn't feel right from the beginning.    Wanted to allow them to connect to my pc.  Had my some listen to call - he said SCAM city.  I asked the guy "Jordan" for his telephone, email, website, address...something I could check up on his asssertions.  I got the infamous tel#.  They're still working this scam!  So watch out and spread the word.

I have turned this number and my call experience with them.  I did a low investigation and found out who owned the number and found the Switch number on here.  It has all been turned over to the IC3. This is a Department that uses FBI, CIA, Secret Service, and other countries high level investigators to investigate these types of actions.  

Any police that are bothered with this type of call, and type of weird e-mail, or that you are supposed to get X amount of money sent to you for free.  Take all information you can get. Save it on your computer word processor or print it out.  Go to IC3.GOV.  You will find there will be a form you can fill out.  Give them as much information as you can. Everything.  They will take it from there.  Again, keep a file for the e-mail for the fraud that you filled out, the IC3 will send you a complaint#.  Print this and keep it in your folder, or save it along with your other evidence.  For at least a year.  Why, the IC3 may e-mail you or call you for any further information that has been found or ask you about the call received. Good Luck.  The IC3 gets a high volume of these types of forms filled out and sent to them.  It is the hackers, fraudsters, and pisher's against the United States of America citizens.  Be calm and patient. The IC3 will drop the hammer on the ones they get the most complaints on.  I send them all the fraudsters, hackers, and pisher's I can to try to help them get the people at least off computers, and maybe even behind bars.  They need all of their citizens help.  I have turned this scam over to them already but, be my guests to fill out one of your own. I guess this [***] has not died off yet, I just received a call at 5 pm on Thanksgiving Day.  " This is Albert Greene from Microsoft Windows....blah,blah"  in a Spanish accent.  I began to suspect the name sounds too Anglosaxson for a guy with his accent. "Really? my computer has been sending report of viral infection to Microsoft, but how come you are still working today.  Where are you calling from?"  I asked.  "I am located in Los Angeles", he answered without hesitation.
" Since I am going away for a party shortly, please leave your name for me to call back later on.", I extracted his phone with an excuse.  " By the way, you do not have to turn on your computer.  My number  is 2132213528, Thank you.". Then, I relayed this information to my son and he said that was a scam. I should Google this number and find out the truth. Here I am and this is the rest of the story........

Just got a call from these clowns. Same claim. Guy with a heavy Middle Eastern accent. When I asked his name, he tells me His name is Peter Jones...lmao. I almsost fell on the floor. Cant these Dumbasses at least come up with a name that fits..hahaha Goodbye

I just recieved a call from Sam at this number.  He said he was from Windows care.  His company does support for Mircosoft.

I got this call. Same Indian guy...Albert Green & his so called manager , Rex Cooper. Names don't even sound Indian. They could have at least made the name sound authentic. I pulled up the computer and everthing and did not go further. I asked him to verify the company by a website. He gave me windowscare.com...does not even exist.

I got a call from this number - the guy had a strong asian accent, yet was named Eric Simmons...hmm...
He stated to go to my computer and allow them to help clear up some viruses my computer was sending out.
The person was persistant, and I told him I was not in front of the computer, so asked for his number.
I researched the number and found it is a scam.  Other co-workers have been getting the same calls.  The number shows up as "anoymous" on the phone.  I did check with my work IT department, and checked with MS customer support too.  They all advised that this is a SCAM.  Do not allow them access to your computer.

If anyone calls you from this number, its a scam. I knew it was the monute I could not understand anything the guy was saying.  He said he was with Windows and tried to tell me my computer was having an error. I asked him what my ip address was and he gave me a number which I did not check but, when I started asking him questions he started saying things like "are you serious" and had a bad attitude. I told him to eff off and never call again.  Be careful. Don't do anything they say.

I have just received a call from this scam artist, I don't know how they knew I had just bought a new computer and just got it running. I haven't even been on the internet yet. Mark from Window Care told me my computer was very infected and was sending him a message and it was urgent that I take care of this. The phone number that was given to me was 213-221-3528.

I got a call from "Adrian". He wanted his tech to access my computer over the internet.They walked me through a process they stated would show me where the viruses were, but it was just errors and warnings about things like Firefox crashing. I asked for a call back number and this is the number they gave. I told them I would rather take my computer in to have it looked at and hung up. It sounded like a scam, so i was happy to see all these other comments.

I received the same call as everyone else from call ID 000-000-0000 from someone identifying themselves as Shawn from Windows Care. He told me my Windows had a virus and when I asked which computer he got very confused. I told him we have a lot of computers and which was he referring to or at least which Windows. He couldn't answer and the way he was talking to me seemed off. He asked me to turn on my computer and I refused.  When I asked for a last name he stumbled and didn't give me one.  I asked for a call back number and he gave me 213-221-3528 and hung up. I called the number back and got an answering machine for someone else identifying themselves as Windows Care so I hung up and Googled it.

Please go to www.ic3.gov and kindly report the issue against this call. The company's name is Octane Info Solution Pvt Ltd , which is based in Kolkata, India.

Everyone be cautious and complain against these scammers as soon as possible to protect your identity and computer informations as your internet is issued in your name. If anything goes wrong though your computer (like hacking, hijacking) then the government will be against you. Therefore, just visit www.ic3.gov and complain the matter immediately and have peace of mind then.

Received a call from these jokers last night,when is somebody going to put a stop to these guys? Isnt there anything that can be done

THey called me at home to tell me they were receiving error messages and virus info on my "windows operating system" and attempted to lead me through DOS commands to install or hack my computer. I asked for their name and number to verify as I suspected they were frauds and got the info and then called back and cursed them out. They told me "same to you, Ma'am."  They are the scum of the earth!

I got a call from the company windows care.They explained me the problem of my computer I was totally unaware of.The person I was talking not only made me understood but solved all the problems as well.I am really thankful for the company.If in future I face any problem they are going to provide me services.I called in this number afterwards they explained all the thinks that how to maintain my desktop.I am really thankful for that call from the number 2132213528 from windows care.
