I was woken up this morning with a call from 213-228-8111 .  I ignored it but after the second call ten minutes later I looked up the number on the internet and became aware of the scam.  They called again 10 min later and I told them that Jenny wasn't home.  They called again in another 10 minutes and I listened a bit to what the gal had to say.  She told me that I signed up to make money on Google.  I actually did check into this about 2 months ago but all it was was to order a package about making money on Google.  I wasn't going to pay to find a job so I left it alone.  I can't remember whether I gave them my number or not but why would they call a whole 2 months later.  If they wanted to sell me something why wouldn't they within days of my registration.  I told the gal to take me off her list.  She fought me a bit but finally said okay.  I hope that worked!

This how to stop these leaches from calling. First, go to https://www.donotcall.gov/ and register your number(s). The next time they call answer your phone asap and pause for two seconds, then say hello in a pleasant manner. They will ask for you, just be nice and tell them you are at work and this is a business line and you are getting in trouble due to their persistent phone calls. Ask them to please remove your number from all of their lists. They will comply with your request. Remember to be nice and professional. No one wants to help an [***]. Peace.

this number comes in to my cell 5-a6 times a day and I have not idea who they are--I called the number to see who answered and the recorded message said"thanks for your call; an operator will be right with you". Who is this???I wish they would stop.

this is rediculous whomever this is really is invading our personal time the number thier calling is my husbands business phone which does not belong to him its for contact from his boss so to get a call at 9 to 10pm every night is rediculous it states california when u return the call it states you will be the next person in line you wait and wait and nothing happens it really is an invasion of privacy if its from google it needs to stop!

I had 23 missed calls from them yesterday because I never answered my phone. Now that is ridiculous.

these people at this phone number harassed me all day at work this morning calling about 8 times. twice an hour. Get a life! Very unprofessional and creepy.

got called 10 times on 5-29-2008, tried calling them all I got was a message center.   My  cell is also on the do not call list.

Got a call from this number the evening of May 29th @ 7:25 Pacific Daylight Savings Time.  i have no clue who this is and I have an unlisted number.

I have recieved 10 calls from this number between 8:00am and 11 am, only rings once, and never leaves voice mail.  It's almost clockwork, every 15 - 30 minutes.  I haven't answered yet, wanted to look up the number online first.  Glad I did.  I just wonder when you can call it harassement.  Gotta go it's almost time for another call...

05/31/08 The phone rings, no one ever answers.  I have to answer the phone becuase I have a sick daughter who needs help.  My son is calling concerning problems.  Therefore I have to run to the phone from 5 to 8 times a day and there is no one there.  I tried to call them back and they put me on hold.  Can't this be stop.  I am on the no-call list.
