I am at work and we have received a few calls from this number. It sounds like a fax coming in? Called it back and got the same thing everyone else did "This number is not in use.  Thank you for calling.  Good bye."


I hope it stops I cant imagine it calling for a year???!!!! There has to be a way to make it stop right?

There is the thing called blocking the number ........................ just call your local phone provider "cell phones can block number too"

This number came to my attention recently. Same MO -- calls in bursts of several times within a very few minutes, sometimes late at night. If you pick up, no tone or anything, just dead air before hanging up.

Another # with the same MO is 412-202-0709.

It wouldn't surprise me if both #s were spoofed; for all we know, the calls are coming from a boiler room overseas.

You need to file a complaint against the number. The more people that complain to the FCC, the faster they will act and put a stop to the harassment. Go to http://esupport.fcc.gov/complaints.htm?id  Also file a complaint with the service provider of the phone number: Pac-West Telecomm, Inc. at (877) 626-4325. Although the number on caller ID may be a false Caller ID it is the service provider's responsibility to find out where the calls originate from.

Got a call from this number at 5:02 am this morning.  Picked up the phone.  No one answers.

number 213-232-3239 called me 5 times this morning between 4am and 5am.

They called twice in the middle of the night (the same night!), and it was just fax sounds.  Really jarring to get woken up with a phone call to begin with, and then infuriating to have it be some random fax number!!

Repeated calls from: 213-232-3239 at all hours! Just hang ups. Very annoying.

I got the calls at 7:41am twice this morning, but Robert's advice is sound and hopefully the calls will stop.  No one likes to be awakened to garbage in the morning.

I am getting called by this number over and over starting on 08/13/2010 at 12:30 EST on both my cell and home phones.   Must have gotten my numbers off the internet.   I am go to work with MCI and Verizon to get it blocked.  Can't the law get in the act, and do something to track down the source?  What the xxx are tax dollars for anyway.

We have eight business lines, and have received these phone calls at the rate of at least 20 per hour this morning. I am almost ready to donate my weekly paycheck (although it's not very much) to anyone who can tell me how to stop these calls!!

The mystery has been solved.  It seems that the number 213-232-3239, is a line at the residence of Jack Nicholson.  Apparently, when Jack throws a late night party, he uses this line to order pizza.  However, he is in no condition to be dialing numbers, which explains why he reached you folks instead of Papa John's.  Perhaps Papa John's could install a hot line in Jack's home where all he has to do is pick up the phone and it rings their closest location.  Jack is really very sorry about all of this and asked that you stop in the next time you happen to be in the Beverly Hills area.  He'll order pizza.

This is a fax trying to call my boss's cell phone

this number calls multiple times and when i answer its a fax machine.  IT calls non stop

The phone company doesn't care. Someone is paying them for the numbers so they are happy regardless if all they do is make calls from a fax machine. The worst part is that these calls come in at all times of the day.  Just a few of the last four I received this morning going all through the day... 3229-3228-3224-3223.

I've received 9 calls today from 213-232-3239.  I answered the first calls, which sounded like a fax machine.  When I didn't answer 4 of the calls they went to voice mail.  The voice message sounded like a fax machine calling me.  I am going to call my carrier to ask them to block the number.  Hope they can help.

I got three calls from this number starting at 3a.m. No one on the other end. I called the number and was told number not in service.  Why would someone be so thoughtless to break someones rest at these hours. My first thought was "hope everyone in my family is alright"  I called my phone service and had the number blocked. There is also a 202 number doing the same thing.
