Keeps calling me. Just a fax.

This is rather annoying....having been getting calls from this fax line every 5 minutes....appears to me from what I've read that it is part of a scam....NOT COOL!!!

Update to my recent post....it's not every 5 minutes it's every 2 minutes. Have called about 10 times already (today). Really starting to piss me off. Apparently being on the "Do Not Call" list doesn't work!

This 1-213-232-3239 number keeps calling my house, even after we've moved.  With the fact that it's just a beep, it makes me believe it's just a fax machine.

It normally calls at 3AM, but it's currently been calling every 3/4 minutes for the past hour.  It's 4:16PM Houston time right now, so if that's any indication at how annoyed I am, let it be known.  Ah, and here comes another call.

well that number called me on my toll free company number lol. January 31, 2012. No msg left.

Just got two calls and two voice messages. Answered once there was beeping like fax machine. Called my voice mail once same beeping then hung up. Immediately falling these two calls got unknown number calling. But I didn't answer and no MSG left. I live in Tx

This is a fax service www.efax.com. It just means someone mis-typed a number and is trying to send someone - maybe you maybe someone else - a fax. While some scammers and fax-spammers use this service, so do tons of legitimate small businesses (including mine).

I guess the only way to find out is to forward the call to a fax machine, see who the sender is and then let them know they have the wrong number. A pain, but better than having your phone ring all the time.

This number calls me every five minutes starting at 5:40 am with no one on the line but a FAX tone. Reading all the reports on this number, it appears that there's nothing we can do about it but endure the disturbance. What's the world coming to!

Received an efax from this number.  Tried to open the the attachment on a Mac and its some web redirect attempt and didn't work.  (I won't test on a pc though). I reported this as an "unsolicited fax" to the efax "spam and phishing complaint" form from here:

Hopefully with enough complaints, this number can be made to go away

I too received an email from "efax" from this number.  They are either spamming via efax or spoofed the email to make it look like it came from efax.  Either way, don't open the email.

Calling me multiple times today on my cell.  Stop!!

This number belongs to www.myfax.com.  Anyone sending a FAX in the US or Canada will have this number display when they are receiving a FAX.  It is NOT A SCAM.  However, it doesn't mean that some people don't use this as a advertising tool.  I've had this service for 5 years and I know many legit businesses that do.

Received the first phone call at 8:00am they continued until 10:39am  every two minutes or so.  All in all there were 21 consecutive phone calls with fax signals when answered.  They continued until I actually let the answering machine take it, then they stopped.

It is a fax company faxing something to you.  Mine was from a form I sent through adobi on my computer.

I received a call twice on my company phone WHILE on the phone with clients! I do not give out this number out side of the business environment. I am curious as how they received my number and how this has been going on for many years! I called back and it stated "this number is not in use, goodbye"

Between 435 and 5:02 i received nine [9] calls from this number.  Caller ID lists number only as
"Los Angeles CA"

No messages left.

we are getting the same calls from 213 232 3239 and 213 232 3224 keeps faxing and won't stop we are on call 15 now !!!... we are a biz, this sucks
