I have received voicemail messages from this same number both at work and on  my cell. When I tried to call it back the mailbox is full.

Got this phone call also at work and oon my cell i called the number back and When i informed them that they were a scam and police reports were being filed they hung up on me and  so pre warning let them know that YOU have investigated them to the FULLEST and you know that they are just trying to get information to ruin your credit and money and bank. DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY INFORMATION.. just a reminder and warning please do not think this is legit because it is by no means real!

Someone with an middle east accent called saying I needed to return the call immediately or have my attorney call or I would pay the consequences

My brother received phone calls from this same # (213) 261-5794 and he actually at HPD come to his house. We are not sure if HPD was there regarding this phone call or they had the wrong apt, my brother was at work at the time.

The individuals who call said that he had a Advanced Payday Loan and threatened to have him arrested if he did not resolve the balance. My brother has never gotten a loan from anyone. We are going to call the Houston FBI fraud dept as well as the attorney generals office today to report these people. I hope they catch these idiots!!

This number called me 5 or 6 times today and said his name was "John Miller". Same accent as everyone else is describing. He said it was urgent I call back and if I didn't, the only thing he could do was "wish me luck as the situation unfolds" on me. It creeped me out at first, but after seeing that it happened to more people than just me, I've realized it's a scam and not to worry. I don't know if they have my SS# or address or anything, but I did put an alert on my accounts. Whenever I tried to call the number back, it said they couldn't accept anymore voice messages. What creeps!

I got a call from someone with a thick East Indian accent.  Saying from Department of legal affairs.  That he was a paralegal and cant give me any info.  But he had the last 4 number of my social security #.  I called the local police.  Since no crime has been committed yet.  They can't do anything.  But told me to if they call back to tell them this is a scam.  remove me from your call list.  That if you call again I can file a report on them.  Also to call your bank and report possible credit alert.

I've been receiving the same calls from that same number. Threatening to have me arrested the next day at 11:00 am.   They said it was because of a loan from cash advance usa. I have no loan from them. LOL   213-261-5794  is the number. Glad I looked it up. Thank you all for the info.

Now that I've seen all these blogs about it being a scam and a fraud, I can rest easy. The man said I had a loan from Cash Advance USA. He threatened to have me arrested tomorrow at 11am. I have no loan from Cash Advance USA. I reversed the threat sayin if he didn't stop calling me I would call the authorities on him. He practically begged me not to do that. Now I will be calling them.

There would be aaa law suit filed against me for an unknown reason.

just got the same call at my job and on my own phone. saying that if i don't call this number that they will issue a warrant out for me. i am a law abiding citizen so i know i didn't do anything wrong.

I too have received several harrassing phone calls from this number and another number also threatening a lawsuit and to be arrested.  They even called me as I was in the hospital with my grandmother who passed away Tuesday evening and I asked them to stop calling.  :(

I have received the same calls numerous times.  The latest was Tuesday 3/6/12 while I was in the hospital with my grandmother who was passing away at the time. I asked them to please stop calling me and told them why and they continued to do so anyway.  Another # to be on the lookout for is 424-210-3579.  This was the first call I received on 2/17/12.  Save the numbers these guys are calling from and report them to your local authorities as soon as you can and also your credit bureaus and financial institutions.

Have recieved several calls from this # and I can not understand what he is saying, just the part that my attorney needs to be contacted???????????

this guy called my resturant for 5 hours straight and tied up 8 phone lines looking for one of my employees telling me to send him his payheck he ows him money the cops came to my store and answered the phone and told the man to stop and he did not someone needs to put a stop to this man

Received threatening message as I did not answer call from 213-261-5794.  Man with thick eastern accent telling me to have attorney of record call me or else good luck with my downfall.  Called the number back prepared after reading these posts and it states that the mailbox is full.  This is no doubt a scam.

This guy called my cell and left a message and immediately called my work #.  How did he get this info.  I am calling local authorities now.

I also have recieved a phone call from a man who sounds like he is from India.  He told me that I must call him at once and that he is from a Legal Investigation office, each time i try to call, all i get is his box mail, which claims to be full.  We need to do something about this...  It seems to me that this is a scam to scary or con people out of thier money and if they can't get what they want, then their next step is to play head games.....  also, this same man, HIS VOICE,  i remember of him telliing me over the phone that i can send him $287 dollars, then His Load company would approve of me getting $2,000 dollars...   I strongly believe that people like this are getting our infromation about us over the internet....   when you sign your name on anything online and your phone number or any information  about you to any site... They are either there or behind it...

I just received a call from that number too. What do I do - I know I am not in any kind of trouble. When I tried to call back it went to voicemail and a mail box that is full. Same voice as described by other people on this site. He said his name was Chris Jones. They also called me at work.

I received the call as well from 2132615794. It was definitely Spam. The one thing I can say is, be careful when you are putting your information in to receive loans because your information that you put into the website goes to SEVERAL loan companies (and even fake loan companies). ONce they have your information they can do anything with it. I never had this issue until I place an application to receive a loan. Now, I'm receiving a lot of crazy phone calls from weir area codes and foreigners.

Do not talk to the person who called you from that number!!! It is spam. Any business would not conduct matters like that over the phone. Further, they would not leave a voicemail of that tone. Save the voicemail as evidence because we may be able to get a lawsuit against the person who is doing this if the police find out who it is. Have you recently placed an application for a payday loan or any loan? I know that this hadn't started happening since I put in an application for one over the internet.
