They keep calling MY number at work, looking for someone who doesn't work here. This has been going on for many many months and they will not stop when I tell them that he doesn't work here. Does anyone know what I can do to stop these people?

Looking for someone that used me as a reference on an auto loan.

I have gotten a couple of calls from this number on my work cell phone. When I answer the phone, they don't even saying anything

They asked to speak to me and when I said I was that person, they hung up.

So lame, this number calls and if you answer, they hang up.  It makes me nervous because I've heard about those calls that rack up your cell phone, just never answer a call that you dont know who it is.  If its important they will leave a message!

I got the call today and yesterday, asking for a someone with a common name like Herington, everybody knows one right?
Somebody invent a call block feature that references these numbers.

They keep asking for the same people i have told them its the wrong number they still keep calling.

Keep getting calls asking for someone who supposedly used my number as alternate contact. have asked on several occassions to remove my number. wouldnt allow me to speak to supervisor

I received two calls yesterday and one (so far) today.  I have NEVER dealt with this company.  They said that my sister gave them my number as a reference.  My sister has NEVER given my cell phone number as a reference. I told them not to call anymore.   All of my numbers are registered with DO Not Call Registery, www.donotcall.gov.    MOST IMPORTANTLY, I have gone to the website and registered a complaint.  I suggest that you do, also.  After so many complaints, a company is fined.  I believe the fine is $10,000 per complaint.  You could help bankrupt a company that you have never dealt with, but is harassing you.

3rd time this # has called my house. they said they got my name and # from public record and wanted me to walk over to a neighbor that they referenced by name and tell them to call this company or please hand them my phone so they could speak to them. stated they were a finance company looking for these people who i do not even know. i have reported this blatant violation of credit laws to the ftc and will continue to report them if enough is reported then they can be fined for these actions on a per call basis. maybe they will change the tactics after a few hefty fines.......

Drive financial uses several different numbers to call you from and they HARRASS us for payments. Even when you call them and try to make arrangments they do not care!!!

I have receveived several calls from this company looking for someone who I knew for about 2 minutes back in college and they said they have my work cell phone number from this person. I haven't spoken to this person since 2001 and I got this cell phone number in 2007. How do I stop these people from calling?

A homewrecker used me as a reference for her Auto loan...I gave them all her info and they still continue to call me.  I asked to be taken off as her reference, but they still call me. Maybe people sound tell you when they uses you as a reference, because I'm now i'm the one left with the annoying phone call....

yes, i would like these anonying people caught, they called me and asked for me but my husband answered, they said that someone used me as a reference for a auto loan. I do not know anything about this and would appreicate, whoever it is doing this, that they really need to get a life!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I had no idea who was calling me ,, so i did the babysitter bit.
And asked to take a message. Then when i dailed the number back it says it has been disconected.. any one eles try calling them back???

best wat to deal with them...I have a can by my phone that has a loud skreachy blow horn noise on it ...when they call dont answer it...just blow the horn...they will stop...did me after two times
