So i phoned my provider gave them the number & they said it was an international call. Next time the clowns ring i will tell them in no uncertain terms to bugger off.
Kind Regards

- di keep getting calls from this number to but the only thing that shows up is the 4231, and they never leave a message
- MethuselahI'm getting the annoying calls from 1-4231-1 or 4231 as well. I answered the first because I was expecting a call and didn't realize who was/wasn't calling. Just dead air with the sounds of a call center in the background. As I am a man it is possible that the caller heard my voice and decided not to solicit since that seems to be an experience that is trending (given the posts here). Maybe next time I'll fake a girl's voice and see if the scumbags "bite". Hehehe... However, the calls ARE very annoying and come in at all hours (I ceased picking up). No voicemails have been left, but I'm wondering if they might -- some reckless or inexperienced telemarketers do even though they are strongly admonished not to by managers. I WISH THIS WOULD STOP. I'm registered with DNC and reported this. What else can I do?

- Symantec CustomerCaller claimed to be from Symantec renewals wanting me to renew a product I had renewed two weeks ago. Claimed to be working from live info on my account. I asked him where in Dallas he was located and he gave me his PO box. I asked where he physically worked and he said the Phillipines and that he will call me back in a couple minutes with all my account info.

- Mendolyn FatzGot a call from this number today at my place of work, they had an outdated contact name (approx 5 yrs old) the lady spoke in a robotic voice with an accent. She asked for whoever handled our IT or Office manager. Mentioned that we needed to renew our Anti-virus software, I cut her off and explained that we had employed an IT company and had current antivirus through them and that she needed to put us on their "do not call list" and hung up on her.

- BeckyThis person just called the main reception line for our office in DENVER and asked for our CEO - Our company is based out of Australia, which is where our headquarters and CEO reside. I informed this caller that our CEO was unavailable to answer her call as it was 4am there. She sounded annoyed and said, "so he's based out of Australia now, huh?" as if she thought that was "sneaky" of him... I said, "Actually, he's always been based out of Australia as has this entire company. May I ask who this is??" She said her name (which I couldn't understand through her accent) so I asked her to elaborate by telling me which company she's calling from. She said, "The Wealth Elimination Network". What kind of ridiculous name is that?!? lol... maybe I'll start my own "wealth elimination" company and start calling CEO's to tell them they're too wealthy and should give me some of that wealth. I'd be happy to take it off their hands! ha!

Sounds like a total scam by what other people have written.
- DougCall from Symantec to advise that a license agreement for Endpoint Protection was due. Totally legit, except this outsource company insists on hiring Filipinos who are sometimes difficult to understand and always pronounce my name (Doug) as DOG. Pretty insulting.
