I get a call from this number several times a week.  Now that I recognize the number I just wont answer.  I wonder how they get away with this kind of harrassment, and what do they get out of it.

From what I understand DNC list allows surveys, political, and charity calls.  I guess this qualifies as a survey.  After the 2nd call I used the call blocking feature of my phone provider and blocked them forever.  *60 is what my phone company uses to enable you to set up your own call blocking system.

Don't like getting goofy calls. I am on "no call" list. I'm waiting to hear about a job and run every time the phone rings.  So damned annoying.

I've been receiving calls from 214-283-1316 for some time now.  I'm never on long enough to find out if it's the same every time...I only know it's some survey.  Very annoying.

Did not answer call.  Caller ID states "Texas".  Im in Portland Oregon

I received a call (2142831316) May 27, 7:09 pm.  Normally screen our calls this time of day.
Isn't there a way to put a stop to their harassing calls?

Phone rang two & 1/2 times by the time I picked up I got a dial tone. 5:58 pm Memorial Day What a bother.

I got a call from 214-283-1316. I didn't answer as I didn't recognize the number.  When I finally answered they hung up.I checked online and see they are calling people with inappropriate questions.
What good is our do not call list?

Wireless caller, unknown so didn't pick up

The message actually states that they are from the Rasmussen Co. and that the information will be shared major news networks and television. How do they get away with using the Rasmussen name?

The automated survey started out okay, entirely political in nature. And this being an election week here, I figured it was innocent and for real.
 But after a few questions, asking what party I belonged to and my age and gender, it started asking weird questions, about the opposite political party, (for instance, do I think someone from this other party will be elected this year,... after just having told them that I belong to the OTHER party and will vote that way.
More and more, the questions and choice of possible answers to choose from just didn't seem to make sense and were actually sounding childish and getting irritating.
Another poster called the questions "odd" and that was the impression I was getting toward the middle.  They just didn't seem intelligent or professional anymore.  And unlike another poster's impression that it was biased toward one policical party, I felt it was biased too, but in the exact opposite direction. Perhaps the questions change depending on the answers you give.
Regardless, the questions and answers were getting ridiculous in nature, and not at all what you'd expect from a legit research company. There's something not quite right about it.

I hung up in the middle of the survey, and came to the conclusion that this was someone's idea of a joke.

Just got this call. didn't answer cuz didn't know wireless number and was in the middle of our supper!!!

I noted that this phone number came up on my caller id as a wireless caller.  I do not know of anyone in the 217 area code  and therefore do not answer

Didn't leave a message, but wasn't one of my clients.

company called - asking about the economy and how you feel about it but only ask 2 questions then started asking other private questions - i hung up!

Got this call today. If I'd have known about the questions I'd have totally had fun with them. LOL :P

Had a hang up call from this number yesterday (Saturday afternoon). They didn't leave a message. I am on the Do Not Call list.

Called my house in Boise, Idaho.

Are  you kidding me ... i just got this call at 11pm ....answering machine got it ... A Survey at 11 pm??
