Phone only rang once.  No message.  I am on the no call list.

No one answered-what a putz-I'm on the no-call list

My home phone number is on a "Do Not Call" list.  Today, 7-12-09 I received a call from 2142831316.  When I answered, they hung up.  Why sign up on the list if you still receive unwanted phones calls?

I'm in the Dallas, TX area and 214 is a local area code.  Caller ID just showed "Wireless Caller".  Didn't recognize the number, so didn't answer it.  Googled it and ended up here.  I'm glad I didn't answer it.  On 6/26 I received a call from 832-366-1100, IC LLC.  Based on an earlier post, I wonder if the two are related.  I didn't answer that one either.  Caller ID is great for ignoring unwanted calls.  Blocking them completely would be even better.

I said it was a survey for TV and radio. The recording just asked antiObama questions.

Called and left no message.

Never answered it, Just called.

Caller id showed WIRELESS CALLIN  1-214-283-1316.  There was a short pause so I knew it would be an automated call when I answered.  The recording said something about a short survey that would be gathered for radio and tv.  I was then asked to press 1 if I was over 18, I forget what "2" did, asked to press 3 to opt out of receiving these calls in the future.  I pressed 3 and hung up.  I, too, am on the national do not call list.

Did not recognize the caller and let the answering machine pick up.  They hung up...busy signal.

Phone search is NOT FREE, so we still do not know who is calleing from Texas.

I ignored this call as I did not recognize the number.

I got this call at 11:55am on August 8, 2009.  I did not answer it because I did not recognize the number.  However, they hung up after the 3rd ring...before my voice mail even kicked in.  I called the number back and I get a fast busy signal.  After reading these posts, I know I will be getting a lot more calls from this number in which I will not answer.  How can these people be stopped? Anybody have any ideas???  (I too am on the National Do Not Call List)

They called yesterday.  I didn't answer, ad the id said "marketing".  They've called before and I've put them on my "do not call list" which doesn't seem to do any good.

This number called, but did not leave a message.  I believe it called before about auto insurance.  I don'tn drive

This is the 2nd such call,but no one spoke.  It's just listed on my iPhone as a recent call.

The present site is helpful. Otherwise, I might have called back.  Interestingly, I was being visited by someone from Houston, Texas.

Received call a few minutes ago...aoproximately 6:47 pm  Caller ID Showed "Wireless Calling" Did not answer was not at home. Not recognizing the number I did a lookup and read the comments from others. Will place this number on my list of annoyance calls.
