just got a call 9:50 AM on 6/18/10      after answered, got beeps, then disconnected. I did not call back

unknown phone and unknown reason to get a cell call from this number.

Every day for the last three days I have received a phone call from 2149560872--no anwswer, no response.

Thanks a lot for the information. I called up 1-800-650-7183 and a person answered the call. I asked him to remove my number from the list and he did that for me. They an automated dialing system through a computer for a list of numbers and if no agent is available at time of call then the computer just hangs up on you.

I have have been called at this number for the past 3 days. I also got a call before on Saturday. I hope this person stops calling...

You'll die in 7 days

I'm receiving calls from this number several times.  No one answers and if I call the number, it is either busy or no one answers. The purpose of their call is truly unknown.

Called the 800 number and had them remove my number.  Lets see if this works.  If you have Verizon, you can easily add them to the blocked number list on account tools

214.956.0872 when I receive a call from this number, my phone acts as if there is no reception(windows mobile message no reception) wen there's like four/five bars...

Just called by this number for the umpteenth time, sounded like they were driving, hung up on me when I said hello. Called back with no answer. Pretty Damn Annoying!!!!

I have been receiving these calls for months.  Several times per day.  I researched and found the web site www.circulationiii.com and used their online form to submit a complaint and request to not call me anymore.  We shall see what happens.

I have received at least two or three calls from this same number for the last three or four days.  Very annoying.  Who the heck is it?

Same here... i try to call back and get nothing. why are they bothering? they aren't there when i answer either...

I just called the office number someone listed below- 1-214-352-1123 and spoke to a guy who said he'd take me off the list.  He had some BS excuse for why it hangs up and whatnot, either way they were calling anyone who has subscribed to the San Jose Mercury News in the past- which makes sense as i used to have a sub.  Perhaps this company gets different accounts with diff clients, but if you're getting called form this number and you used to be a subscriber, call the office number listed above and ask them to take you off... hopefully it works and I'm not just on ANOTHER list now!! haha
