These stupid rude people call 5 times a day for our IT deparment.  They don't say what they want just to speak to the head of IT about our servers.  I'm not allowed to hang up on them (company policy) so how can I make them stop?

Called me twice this weekend, reported to DNC list for violation x 2. If you call the number you get only a recording.

3/6/2009. They called here tonight at 8 pm CST. I said no thanks then looked at my caller ID, and went to National Do not Call list and reported them.

keeps calling and no one is on the other end. Numerous phone calls, same thing.

Answer it and just dont say anything. They wont call back.

The call is from TNS Telecoms made under the auspices of a survey. TNS is a HUGE publicly traded data company.

I searched the internet and found the home telephone number of one of its vice presidents and left a message on his answering machine.  The next morning I received a phone call of apology informing me that my number will be removed from all of their lists and to call 817-488-7946 for assistance if I received further calls.

What on earth good is the DO NOT CALL list if these calls are allowed to bypass that system?   This is an annoyance call and another disrespecting company with no precept for social mores.

What can't they just leave people ALONE?

plugged this number into my contact named Zzz which of course means to me don't answer... just do this with all these goofballs so you don't worry about answering again

Called for a survey about Verizon Wireless. I called VZW about 2 weeks prior to receiving this call, and they knew the exact date(s) I called into Verizon and the rep's names. So i'm assuming this is somewhat legit. Lady was nice enough over the phone and had a good laugh about my answers to the survey.

Honor WHAT, and what are you paying extra FOR? There is no cost for the DNC list. If you mean a feature on your phone line, are you sure it is activated or programmed? It won't work unless you know how to use it correctly.

They called wanting to talk to my IT department.  Woman with problems with English (seriously, she had a foreign accent) couldn't get it that this is a residence.  I've done some consulting out of here for my brother's failed startup, so when she said she'd give me $25 if I qualified and completed the survey I agreed.  It took about three rephrasings before she understood there are zero, none, 0, no, employees at this location or worldwide.  I asked for my money and she said that was only if I qualified.  Sigh.

It's just a market research company doing phone surveys. TNS Global Market Research (A company from Zimbabwe if you can believe it) http://www.tnsglobal.com/ Just answer and tell them to take you off their list (If you can actually get anybody on the phone that is, I keep getting a dial tone)

At first i got a call from pitches correctional facility (CA)identified as GLOBAL TEL LINK phone number displayed 713-981 0098 ( went to website and called customer support 877 650 4249, (put phone on speaker i was on hold min 15 min!!!) and go on do what you need to do. they can remove you from a list so you do not get calls from the jail anymore.

maybe  90 min later or so i got a phonecall from TNS (number displayed  215 442 7094  which i did not pick up. no message was left. i did little research and found out that they are a company with market research. am registered with Do Not CALL REGISTRY but obviously it does not matter, they call you anyways.so, all my friends know to call my cell, and turned ringer from house phone off. interesting to see how people get your number even you are not listed in a phone book. pretty nasty

answered the phone  and the male voice asked my name and and benificaries about a certain acct. redialed the phone # left on caller id, it showed as TBS. Returning the call the person asked personal information. hung up and called which answered TBS.... called the agency with which i work and they've never heard of this company.

Someone called at 8:08 PM last nite quickly announcing themselves  'on behalf of (name) Bank' asking about my banking privileges with the bank.  They wanted to make sure that I was aware and taking advantage of all that I was entitled to.  

I replied by saying that I've already discussed my banking needs at the bank, with a person at the desk + that I didn't care to speak to anyone on the phone about my personal business.  He persisted, I insisted and I hung up.  Didn't know who it was until I looked at the caller ID today.

they called me and did not leave a message. I didn't call back

I've been getting so many annoying spam calls. A similar number was calling for a survey saying it was a political questions. I've never put this work cell number down for anything personal, so it's very suspicious.

It is Xmas Eve and these people making these calls do not give up .Since 9 am today this phone Nr. 254 442 7094 has dialed my No. 3 times already and it is only 12:47 (Noon ). My caller Id shows  that these calls are from TNS. Whoever this is they better start working with  the do not call Registery I have been on this list since it's inception. It is annoying to recieve these calls multiple times in one day. I never pick up for I do not have any dealings with some outfit identified as TNS.
