This is why everyone needs to use Google Voice. My GV number is the only one I give out. These losers got it somehow, so I blocked them with a couple of clicks and now they get to talk to a "this call is disconnected" message and tone whenever they call.

They called me every day for the past week. Finally sick of it, I picked up and threatened them with legal penalties and hopefully they'll stop. I should, for no reason, be getting these calls on a cell phone at 8 pm. It's silly and then annoying when it started bordering on harassment.

I called for technical support on my business account and 2 days later, I received a call from this number, they wanted me to rate my experience with the customer service agent.

This company called me 5 times in the last 3 days.  The first time I asked the man to put me on their Do Not Call List.  He said they don't have a list - just answer these questions - I hung up and haven't answered the other calls - it's very annoying.  I saw a post that gave an 800 # to easily get taken off their list - it had an extension that was 4 digits.  When I called the 800 #, it was TNS but the recording said their extensions had been changed to 6 digits - I tried every way I could think of and couldn't get an operator to help me.

I has been received several calls for this number.. they asking me for personal information...they probably trying to steal information

The caller i.d. said unknown.  No message left.  We won't answer unless there is a name and even then, if we don't recognize who it is, we will let them leave a message.  If they don't leave a message, we're definitely not going to call them back!

It rang 5 times and then they hung up without leaving a message while I ran up from the basement.... What good is the "Do not Call List"??

You are dealing with a ruthless adversary - a telemarketing company whose only goal is to fulfill a contract with the company that hired them. Neither the hiring company nor the telemarketer will ever care about your peace and quiet, whether you are on a Do-Not-Call-List, or anything else. What keeps them going is a telemarketing lobby in Washington, which has the Republican party in their pocket and on their payroll. I am on the do not call registry - this company calls me day and night. I work a midnight shift and they wake me up from a deep sleep. This time I answered - they know my name and I asked them what was so important that they had to wake me up every night and they hung up!

Caller ID says this is "TNS Survey Rese." Call multiple times daily. Never leave a message.

Do not be misled into believing these calls are from a genuine market research company called TNS. That is just their cover, and the calls in fact have a deadly serious purpose and if you have received a call or continue to receive calls from these people, it is not random - you have been targeted.

The calls are coming from a top secret government department, and either you or somebody close to you have got something in your past about which these government agents are anxious to get more information. Of course it could be that you are innocent of any wrongdoing and have nothing to hide, but the chances are that if they are calling you they already have information, which they may have obtained through their own research, or as a result of an anonymous tip-off. It is also possible that your day to day movements are being monitored.

This secret department of government, about which little is known, goes by the name of the Special Historical Information Tracking department.
