Got call today 9/30/2008 at 2.43pm pacific time, But did take the call, I called back and voice message says that I should call between normal busines hours.

This number calls about 3-4 times a day and doesn't leave a message.  We are on the do not call list-why do they call?

Dear Mr. Deen Jr.:

I wish to bring to your attention a Colonial Penn marketing practice which disturbs me.  I’ve only had your product for two months now and have automatic deductions for my premium.

In the past few days I have received a couple calls from 215-928-8000 which went to my answering machine with no message left.  The most recent unanswered call came in at 8:28 pm last night.  

In researching the phone number on the Internet, I found several complaints registered by people receiving like calls.  The number was listed to Colonial Penn.  

Today at 11:25 am, I received another call and answered it.  The female caller identified that she was calling on behalf of Colonial Penn and wanted to “verify some information.”  If she would have asked me for the information, I would not have supplied it.   However, she afforded me the information (name, date of birth, address and phone) and I just verified it.

The question that came to mind was what could have changed in two months? (my name?, my date of birth?, sure, maybe my address, but my phone number?...she just called me!  

As she continued, I then realized it was a “marketing ploy” to get me to purchase more insurance AND, here’s the kicker, to give her some of my friend’s names who might want your products so I could be entered into a contest!  

Has this what it has come to these days?  Is competition that bad that Colonial Penn has to use such deceiving, bothersome, unsolicited phone calls to current customers to get more business?  Shame on Colonial Penn.

I have had 4 of these today alone!Tired of it!!!!!! I don't pick up.....

I just got call from this number and when I pick up the cell phone the phone die

had caller call me and try to sell insurance to me I told them "NO" and that I don't know them and never ask them to call me then i get a call again next week same thing different caller asking me to take out a insurance after i told this person you people called me last week they said they was doing a follow up???? whatthehell if i didn't want it then what makes you think i want it NOW???

I have been getting calls from this number as well, and it is very annoying, I called the number back and it says to call back during business hours. I am not sure how they got my  number and started calling me, I don't need to talk to anyone there.  If I want information I will go to there website. I put my name on the do not call list as well, and this is what I get. Doesn't seem right, I ignore there call now, but thinking i am going to ave to block there number so maybe that will take care of it. My cell phone company can do that, so maybe that will ended this craziness.

In a matter of approximently 3 hours. I have had 6 calls from y'all. I have yer number set up so as to NOT let yer calls thru.But you can leave a message, that you never do, But does not ring. Ha!ha! But still y'all persist to call. Y'all should be embraced, !!! This just goes to prove, that YOU CAN FIX S!!!!! What happened??? The good Lord told y'all to get in line for yer brains!!! Did y'all miss hear and heard come get yer brains and went to catch one??? Now will you please leave me a???!!!!!

18 times in 2 days? REALLY!!!

Keeps calling. Never a message. Called my cell but blocked them.

I get a call from this number 4 - 6 times a day, even on Saturday - 8 AM.   Who is this?  Why won't they leave a message?
I am on the DO NOT CALL list.  Why do they keep calling?

I have been receiving phone calls this week from this number ... 215-928-8000.  They leave no message therefore, I guess it is not important for me to return their call.  The calls are annoying and I have no clue as to who they are or why they would be calling me.

I have been receiving many calls from this #2159288000- I answer and nothing! I call back and they say they are not open???!!!! to many calls in one day! 6to7 times! enough is enough!

LOOKED ON PHONE AFTER 5 PM AND FOUND TWO CALLS FROM THIS NUMBER WHEN WE CALLED BACK IT SAID CALL DURING BUSINESS HOURS. GUESS THIS IS CLLONIEL PEEN AND THE REPESENTATIVE WHO I TALKED WITH WHEN I SAW COMMERICAIL SAID NOOOOOOOOOOO ONE WILL CALL OUR NUMBER, BUT THAT IS A LIE. LUCKILY WE CAN BLOCK COLONIEL PENN BUT WE R SURE THAEY HAVE SO MANY OTHER NUMBERS THEY CAN USE TO BOTHER US. SO VERY SAD..   CONCERENED IN CLEVELAND

Have been called about every hour, using my service and no message left. This is making me not want anything to do with the company doing it. Poor practices and business behaviors. I now know based on this site, tyvm for the information.

Eight phone calls in one day.  I am on the no call list

I called Colonial Penn just today, they took my info and said they'd send info in the mail. Now I've had two calls from this phone number. I call back, and they don't identify themselves in their voice mail. "We are closed at this time." etc. Not happy.
