Don't know what to make of your post. Some of the buzzy words are more or less correct, but you are heaping more praise than I feel is deserved on an internet insurance broker who is more apt to be interested in moving product than in your financial well being.

As a general thing, sales of insurance lines are tracked very closely by State insurance departments, CT is certainly going to be rigorous.  If you have concerns about the lines The Hartford sold to Talcott, you should be contacting your agent or broker.

I keep receiving calls from This number, even though I have it blocked. I do not answer and they don't know if I should answer. All I could find out is I think it comes from philadelphia.

Caller ID says "Colonial Penn" but who knows if that's really who they are. I have no personal or business ties with Colonial Penn so these calls are completely unsolicited and unwanted. They called me twice in the same 1 minute at 10:21am this morning on my cell phone. I blocked the number immediately. I looked at the call history of the phone just now and after I blocked them they called my cell phone again FIVE MORE TIMES today at 10:24am (just three minutes after I blocked them) and then at 1:54pm, 1:59pm, 5:04pm, and 5:16pm, and the night's not over yet! Thank goodness I immediately blocked them after the first call so I wasn't bothered with all of these additional unwanted calls. I don't care if they call me 25x a day now, they're blocked and I won't see or hear a thing. They seem to call in clusters, they call once and then immediately again within minutes, it's like they're deliberately trying to annoy you to get you to pick up and answer. Don't take the bait.

I got called 3 times a day and they are looking for someone else. I told them they look for wrong people and they are still calling

In six days this number has called me 28 times.  I blocked the number after the first call. However, they always prompt my voice-mail but never leave a message. So infuriating.
